What does she mean by 'as long as your with under 16s'? Does she mean if you have childern with you, as many people as you like can go? Slightly odd. Also you can unhighlight the people in the OP now.
The general gist of it is if you're a large family group or something similar that can be trusted then there's no limit. However I think the idea that 16 or so people aged fourteen to twenty one isn't going to appeal
I'm sure it's not a problem. They probably get scouts all the time and other random large groups of people for camping trips.
I will be 17 at the time, but I won't be drinking whether there is alcohol or not. I often have people thinking I'm over 18 but can just go with whatever.
TBH I won't be drinking much either, I don't want hangovers in the morning for when I go hiking
Why can't I live in the UK :c
TBH I won't be drinking much either, I don't want hangovers in the morning for when I go hiking
Glad I'm not the only one that wants to go hiking. Got anything specific in mind? More to the point, if I come along mind if I tag along? Would like to do Scarfell pike but thought that might be a bit beyond everyone else in the group and didn't feel like going it alone. Technically from their viewpoint we have none.
I wanna go hiking. Only problem is, we're miles away from the deep lake district, so the only realistic way to get to the mountainous terrain is either by car or bus.

Not everyone will be up for hiking and we could hit something less serious and more local like Helvellyn. The scrambles up the East side are quite fun. And even if we aren't deep in the lakes, the lakes are the lakes.. there will be several local places to hike with good views/scenery. Might even be able to find some local scrambling/mines/quandrying to do.

We'd be better off just doing the forest trails that are all around Grizedale. Depending on the weather, we could even go boating on Lake Windermere if we rent some rowboats out.
Just out of curiosity, who going actually has any first aid experience or training?
this has already been discussed in the thread. Cherry Gmod and hezzy both have first aid training.
this has already been discussed in the thread. Cherry Gmod and hezzy both have first aid training.
I was only being curious :sigh: I've not read the whole thread >.>

Some bastard will rape/perv on CourageDog
Some bastard will rape/perv on CourageDog
Also 18 pages late and unfunny. Well, I tried to call my dad to ask to cover the costs, but he's in Africa and can't call back until Wednesday.
Also 18 pages late and unfunny. Well, I tried to call my dad to ask to cover the costs, but he's in Africa and can't call back until Wednesday.
Wasn't trying to be funny, I didn't read the whole thread so I wouldn't know. Just saying, there's plenty of creepy weirdos on FP
only the creepy weirdos worry about someone harming their precious couragedog
generally it's the creepy weirdos that engage in the raping afaik
Some bastard will rape/perv on CourageDog
why do people say this shit, do they have no idea how weird it sounds and how uncomfortable they're probably making her [editline]03:33PM[/editline] creepy weirdo
I rated tool since you might need a tool to build a tent.
Not joining or anything, since I'm from the US, but I'm just stunned that a 14 year old and 16 year olds are being allowed to go camping with a ton of basement dwellers they met on the internet.

Most are excellent people and Hezzy is a cop so I think they're in good hands.
Hezzy is a cop
Wait, I thought he was like 16? Or do you mean internet police :cop:
Stereotype. Most are excellent people and Hezzy is a cop so I think they're in good hands.
the basement dwellers thing was kind of a joke. I'm just saying it's weird that their parents are okay with it.
If I was CourageDog I would be scared. [editline]07:04PM[/editline] Just kidding, FPers aren't disturbed/brave enough for that.
This is how it goes in my family, I'm sensible, and because of it my parents let me make my own decision, whatever it is. I decide to go, I go basically.
Wait, I thought he was like 16? Or do you mean internet police :cop:
Why don't you read the OP before you go and post dumb comments? It says how old all of us are in the OP and in a post hezzy made just a few hours ago.
Is anybody else thinking of bringing their bike? I live only like 40 minites away and Grizedale is renowned for it's bike tracks.
Is anybody else thinking of bringing their bike? I live only like 40 minites away and Grizedale is renowned for it's bike tracks.
I live down in Devon, 5-6 hour train journey for me, not really feasible to bring my bike.
