It may be cheaper for you to get a coach if you're that close though.

What station are you travelling from?
Well I tried two different station, got the same price.
I tried Walsall station and Birmingham New Street station.
I got it down to £18, but you'd have to spend the night in a train station waiting room (about 5 hours)

Yes, got 2 seats spare, as long as your sensible on packing boot space shouldn't be a problem, but we're leaving quite early. CourageDog will have shotgun but nobody will have to ride bitch seat. Where abouts in Birmingham are you? Might be easier to just pick you up if you're East/South Birmingham.
Also I'd be looking for about £10 from each of you for petrol for the round trip.

The idea was for me to reach Tamworth at about 7.45 am, is it still feasible for you to do that?
