Read through the thread and look at how many times the same crap that involves the whole 'Couragedog is gonna have sex lol cos she is a girl'
Come on man, do you seriously believe that anyone is going to let that happen?
I was a bit rash yes, and I apologise for that, but we're still trying to organise this and these comments just derail the thread.
Apology accepted and I see why you got fed up with me.
[editline]12:44AM[/editline]
Sorry for derailing. Won't happen again. Best of luck to all of you and I hope you all have a great time :D
Could one of the organisers possibly pm me their mobile number? I'm the kind of person that usually gets really disorganised and I kinda panic if I get there way before anyones shown up and think I'm at the wrong place.
Sad to report that I cannot get the time off work and thus won't be going. I'll probably give Georgie my BMC map to take though, it's very useful.

Is that because you've already used your holiday time or is it becuase your employer is being a bitch?
Sorry to hear that metallics, we'll have a pint for you okay?
Is that because you've already used your holiday time or is it becuase your employer is being a bitch?
Employer is a bitch. Also because my job is completely unskilled and therefore I have a value of exactly £0 to the company so booting me and getting someone else isn't a problem.
You damn well better Ace. And do it properly, make that a pint of vodka.
I'm booked.
Or a pint of whisky, am I right Mark? :v:
, it's pretty inconsiderate for all you guys to be alright with her drinking at such a young age
Tell me where you live and i tell you that people from 12 on start drinking and getting drunk. Even gettin to coma. Nothing special here, i've seen much worse.
Oh and getting pregnant because they fucked someone at a party while being drunk. I'm just sayin'

That's completely different. Random kids drinking and you not being able to stop them is one thing, letting a friend drink and knowing she's gonna drink is another. But that's besides the point. It's been talked about, no need to go back into it.
I'm booked.

A pint of whiskey? Good luck getting that down lol, you'd be knocked out before you reached half a pint.

Yeah, it's a private joke :v:

Oh right :v:
I'm 16 and I live basically on the welsh border.
I'm free for the next X weeks.
I'm a geek and as crazy as a toasted jellyfish.
I'm using first person a lot in this post.
There's no shortage of money for me.
I might even be able to make actual friends! :buddy:
I wonder...

You have about 4 days to arrange travel and confirm with Hezzy if you're serious about coming.
Random kids drinking and you not being able to stop them is one thing, letting a friend drink and knowing she's gonna drink is another.
Where is the difference? When they drink they're gonna do so.

Oh dear.
I'll take a look around for travel costs and see where this leads.

I'm pretty sure Georgie can handle herself and know where her limits are, I know I trust my friends when they say they aren't going to get completely shitfaced, but I don't know about you.
New attendance list. You're only going on it if you prove to me that you have bought a train ticket (or in the rare event that you're driving);

Me (Tent 1)

Bengley (Tent 2)

Tea (Tent 2)

HarryG321 (Tent 3)

ffffff- (Tent 3)

Acezorz (Tent 4)

cherry gmod (Tent 5)

Cosmic Duck (Tent 6)

APWD007 (Tent 7)

CourageDog (Tent 4?)

Hexxeh (Tent 8)

Mattz333 (Tent 9)
To get on the list, PM me a photo of your train tickets or send me a screenshot of your booking email. If you're driving then PM me and let me know. It might also be a good idea to tell me what arrangements you have made regarding tents - whether you're planning to sleep in someone's tent or bring your own. Sort this out between yourselves.
Failure to appear on this list by the 10th of July means you don't get to come. That's an entire two weeks for you to get your affairs in order.
4 days remaining
I already explained for myself via MSN, no need for tickets etc.
Edit: Will likely be getting there quite late on the first day, though.
I think it's me, Viper, Couragedog in his big tent? Is Viper202 not confirmed yet?
He should be, he said he's getting a lift on the previous page, but Hezzy may need some sort of confirmation somehow
Damn, he better come, else I'm going to have to haul a huge rucksack filled with plastic plates and supernoodles AND a tent on a train to Windermere
I fucking love supernoodles.
Supernoodles for the win, totally.
Damn, he better come, else I'm going to have to haul a huge rucksack filled with plastic plates and supernoodles AND a tent on a train to Windermere
I managed to haul a computer and loads of accessories in a suitcase and one rucksack to i36 in April last year on the train!
How many people can/are bringing stoves?
Pretty sure I've got one, I'll bring it along.
I might be able to get one, my dad found them cheap in Morrisons, about £10 I think.
The Cooking List. Bring what you can:
Pans
Stoves
Plastic plates & cutlery (bring your own individual stuff)
Bowl for washing up if there is no facilities for doing so on camp
Cool box/bag/other methods for storing food
Camping chair to sit in unless you can find a log or you prefer the floor...
I'm just confirming this here and with Hezzy. I'm 100% positive that the 6 man tent is a go go.
I'm thinking about coming, looking at the train times I can get to Windermere from Edinburgh return for £30. I'd be getting into Windermere for about 12pm, will there be anyone driving from the station at that time?
I still need to ask my folks when we are going on holiday, but hopefully I will be able to come. If I order tickets tomorrow I might not get them in the post until after the deadline, would a confirmation email be enough to be added to the list?
I am an experienced Scout (ventures) and so have all the equipment I need, as well as an extra gas stove (and gas I think) that I can bring with me if someone needs a loan.
19 years old.
I think most of us coming by train will be meeting at Oxenholme, as trains between Oxenholme and Windermere are every 45 minutes.
