London is a good 270 miles from windermere, what gives you the idea that living in London would be convienient for this kind of thing? I am looking forward to the train journey but it's expensive and we have to get up very early (Leaving London at 05.39)

There are far more US facepunchers than british ones, but because Britain has a small population, the number per 100,000 citizens of each country who visit facepunch is higher in England than in America.
