Why not just make people pay for the camping now? That way if they don't come, they're the only one that loses out.
Because I'd just be sat on the money with no good reason. Everyone will be paying for their own stuff, there's no booking fee or advance payment or anything like that.
How much is the camping going to cost?
Not sure, but I believe they charge per tent. Won't be more than £20 each for the entire weekend probably. I'll find out when I let them know how many tents we're bringing
Heh, just read this thread. I'd come except I live in Australia :saddowns:

Get them to make a deposit of some sort and give it back when they get there? I guess it's a bit late for something like that though.
Dunno if this is useful to anyone, but TJ Hughes have a set with a tent, two sleeping bags and two foam mat things for £18, just picked one up. Amazon do the same thing for £25, for the money, it seems fine. Can't see it standing up to much weather, but for this kind of thing it seems fine.

Why would I ask them for money? That's just dodgy. If someone messes us around I can just permaban them

Yeah, they don't take kindly to any form of bad weather, they leak in heavy rain, the poles break in strong winds and the ventilation thing at the top often lets in water anyway, no personal experience with that actual set, but I've come across cheap single skin non-popup tents before, sat in one in download in the rain, it was a bit like having gentle sea spray on your face every time the wind blew (it'd been used a few times though, when they're new they're generally better at being waterproof). I suppose however with sleeping bags and roll mats thrown in that's an absolute bargain anyway.
Bear in mind that this is the lake district, while only having one actual lake we do have wind and rain in abundance
touch wood that it will be good weather but don't get your hopes up for lots and lots of sunshine

Fuck i wish i could come i think i'm on holiday, well have fun :D
So, anyone mind if I share I tent with them? :buddy:
There might be room in Viper's tent
I'm still doubting Viper
he's definitely confirmed
he's definitely confirmed
Why are you so sure :ninja:
I'd go. If I lived near there. And if I wasn't 13. And if I wasn't in America. And if I wasn't afraid I would get buttraped... in the mouth.
Oh shit, one day left. I really want to go because I missed out on my holiday this year due to GCSEs and I need to make new friends because I'm leaving for college in September.
Hmmm, it's pretty far from where I am, but some of you are travelling further.
Really would consider this but I'm too later now, maybe next year if you do another.
Why are you so sure :ninja:
Because he's pm'd Hezzy and discussed his travelling methods, anyone who isn't 100% isn't on the list.
Would cost me £50.80 :buddy:
I'm still doubting Viper
Stop doubting me, I've confirmed a gajillion times that I'm coming.:supaburn:
20 minutes until list closes
Do we need to have travel meathods sorted out before list closes?
No, but the only way to get on the list is to buy a train ticket and provide me with proof
2 minutes to go...
Which I have to do by one minute?
Edit: I'd have to ask someone else for the money which I can't do today, but will be able to tomorrow. Can't believe I left this so late.
Well, it is too alte now haha.
Game Over.
well then
