I don't know whether I'm driving yet, but I won't be getting there till late on Monday so it's probably moot anyway.
Hey, Mark, I got us to Bedworth, didn't I? :v:
So what happens then, the Londoners get to the camp nice 'n early, Mark drops me off and I chill with them, then the rest arrive?

Then your task is to scout around the camp site, and find a nice area in the woodland that can fit 12 tents, won't get waterlogged, away from any other families/groups. Then you can clear away all the sticks and stones, find some logs to sit on and some wood for a fire, but don't set up your tent, in case King Brody does not approve of your selection.
People from London, HarryG321, fffff- arrive 09:33
I believe all of the above are then getting a taxi to the campsite from Windermere station. We need to all travel together to make the taxi fare affordable.
At 11:49, Metallics will pick up LordLoss and Matz333 from Windermere station and take them to the campsite.
If you arrive at windermere station before 09:33, you will be getting a taxi. If you arrive between then and 11:40 you will be getting a lift from metallics. If you arrive after that, arrangements will have to be made on the day - contact numbers will be provided.

Me make fire.
Me do good.
Ugg.
I can't wait to make a fire
All raise your hand if you like burning stuff
*raises hand*
Just bought my car today, so if I do pass on Monday, I might be able to drive up rather than get the train. Got my test about 3PM on Monday, so I can either get the train about 6/7PM and be there quite late or drive up the next morning.
Don't worry, I'll still pay my share of whatever it'd cost for my tent being there, not bothered about that if I'm not there Monday night.
Also campfires are cool. Someone should bring a guitar and then you've just completed the scene completely.

Never burn thistles near tents.

I will be planning out the camp site when I get there at about nine. You guys should arrive at about ten.

I wouldn't recommend driving to Grizedale after your test, it's a pretty long drive unless you've got experience. Plus when you get into the country roads, it isn't very comfortable at all. I would get the train if I were you!
Can anyone play the guitar to a reasonable level? If someone points me in the way of some simple tabs I can learn the songs for Monday but I'm not the best guitarist in the world
I have a turboflame lighter somewhere, I will bring that to assist in the fire setting!!
A small bottle of nail polish remover will get fires started easily too. I'll bring that if need be.
HA!
yeah, you would be eaten alive youngin'...
What could eat me?
There's no bears or wolves in the UK.
I think we should be careful what accelerants we use, don't want to blow anything up.
Also I will be bringing my Surefire G3 POLEEC torch, it's super good at blinding people

6:54 Cherry can play well by the looks of things, I think ffffff- can play too, but idk

Nail polish remover is fine. As long as you keep the bottle away from the fire, it's perfectly safe.

Aye, that's what I was thinking, it's about an hour and a half drive. I won't be able to get to Windemere station till about 7PM or so though, so hopefully someone can pick me up then. :/
this thread is funny

They explode, firing super heated thistle bullets everywhere, thus setting everything on fire.

I'm sure someone will be happy to pick you up!
Alright, cool then. :)
By the way, had a check today of what I've got. Got a small cooking stove and a bunch of gas for it, and a water carrier, bunch more cooking stuff. I'll bring all that up. Did someone say there was a shop somewhere nearby?
There is a pub up the road, but not really any shops. I believe the owners of the camp site sell sausages, bacon, etc.
You could buy some food and such from Windermere while you wait for someone to pick you up, I guess? There should be some shops nearby. I'll text you if anyone spots any on the way in.
Ah cool, there's a supermarket next to the station if I remember rightly, can stock up there before I get picked up then like you say.
Also a note everyone: Please sort your sleeping patterns out so you go to sleep at about 2200 and wake up up at 0600. This shouldn't be a problem for the people coming from London, but everyone else should take note! The reason behind this is because we want to make the best use of daylight (what little we may get judging by the weather!!) and also because the camp's curfew is at 2200. We can of course party outside of the camp site, but if we want to stay there again it'd be a good idea to keep on good terms with the owners!
