If I had the money I would have a mac and a PC. I just can't live without my PC for gaming. I need to game. Now if I only did photo and video editing, then I probably would go with a Mac. I hate their prices but the way they work with their OSX is better than windows. As much as I hate to admit it. I would have to get an iMac with cinema display though. Fuck apple laptops.

I don't like Apple laptops. I don't like that shiny thin design and the lack of trackpoint. Thinkpads all the way although sadly lenovo is now going the way of apple as well.

I never got a hang of using the trackpoint.

how are lenovo going the way of apple tho? if anything they're heading in the other direction unless you mean in terms laptop design, which i don't see a problem with. lighter is alyways good, as long as major structural compromises aren't made to the laptops [editline]4th March 2014[/editline] i saw myself as a bit of a thinkpad person before (various t61p's) but wouldn't personally go back to one for video and photo work

ordered some lomo 100 film. it was $8.40 for 3 rolls of 36, the price seemed alright so i want to see if this film is completely shitty or not. in the very least amazon needs a good review because all the ones now for it are awful.

touchscreen laptops a shit. why would you want fingerprints all over your screen, especially for photo work? tablets, i can understand. tocuh is the [I]primary[/I] input. but i rarely see people with touchscreen laptops actually using the touch because of smudges

no but you use a screen protector to stop your screen getting dirty except when you look at your screen, it's still dirty because it's got a dirty protector on top
