because they make a ton of money out of them

when you have that many though it kinda makes the rarity of them seem less valuable to me
Just realised the strap that came with my X10 has X100 branding hahaha.
Since I got my Tokina 16-28 back from being cleaned/repaired after water damage, its had some reaaally bad flare going on. I suppose its more noticeable for me as I shoot gigs/events mostly so I'm always shooting into a strong light source in some way or another, but it's so bad its almost unusable. How could this happen from just being cleaned/repaired? I guess maybe some of the coatings on the elements could have washed off or something
I just realised I can easily and cheaply adapt M, M39 and M42 mount lenses to my camera. Any common lenses that stick out that I should keep an eye out for in second hand camera shops?

Bought a camera bag from Koolerbuy. Below is the real picture. Color is brighter than the description. Other features are great.
That looks like a nice practical bag.
Thinking of buying some inserts just to stop shit flying around in my backpack tbh
That's a sexy bag. I've been thinking of getting one to properly carry my camera around.
I have one that looks something like this: [thumb]http://i.stpost.com/mountainsmith-reflex-camera-bag-medium-in-black~p~4363a_01~1500.3.jpg[/thumb] No idea about the brand though. [sp]but who gives a shit[/sp] And then for when I need to carry more of my stuff, I have this backpack: "Think Tank Glass Taxi"
no one on craigslist emails me back missed out on a hasselblad 500c with a few lenses for $450 (was going to resell), this other guy won't email me back about a couple sony flashes, then i emailed and called another guy about a maxxum kit with 5 lenses for ~$150 but no replies like ffs people
people are way too busy with instant messaging on social media they forget their mailbox. I sent a mail about a photoshoot 2 days ago and some business card designs along but no reply.
i just don't understand why if they are trying to sell something they won't respond to someone trying to buy it? one of them just called me back, getting a maxxum 7000 with a 28mm 2.8 (mostly what i want just because i don't have one), 35-70mm f4, 50mm 1.7, 70-210mm f4, and a nikon 55mm f3.5 (?) for $135 going to sell the 50, 55, and 70-210, then give the 7000 + 35-70 to one of my friends who wants to start shooting film. keep the 28mm for myself and hopefully use it every now and then on film just want to break even at least off the sales
want to buy my maxxum SPXI and kit lens and kit flash thing so I have an excuse to get a film camera that is a nikon mount
What kind of flash?
Hey speaking of film, do you think ISO 400 film kept at room temperature after being shot 2 years before expire date and now 1 month expired will still retain some images? [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] If I get it developed. I have 3 rolls of the stuff that I've forgot about.
YES.

I have done this many times. I still have expired film shot in 2007, kept in varying environments (warm, cold, light, dark). I am not worried about it at all.
The photographer I lived with last year kept all his film in a sealed, blacked out Tupperware at the back of the fridge. Really cool guy, but absolutely convinced that digital will never trump film and treated his rolls like they were sacred relics.
It should be okay, just overexpose a little to be safe

It was the first and last time I shot film. I shot 3 rolls then realized it's an expensive way to shoot, especially when you're still learning (like I still am). I didn't care before but now I kind of do since the rolls were shot in the Canadian Rockies.
It's cheaper than shooting digital I think
Obviously never been to poundland, crates full of film in the warm shop floor.
Checked my local 99p store for film today and they don't stock it. Obviously there's more than a penny difference between the two chains.
It's cheaper than shooting digital I think
I think it's only cheaper if you do like 3000 exposures or something. They talk about it in that one DigitalRev video.
depends

it's only cheaper in the way that the satisfaction ;per shot is higher, like i've shot a fraction of my photos on film but the quality of them (not iq) is generally better than my digital and tbh if i was to pick my best shots they'd probably make up the majority
