[t]http://i.imgur.com/85KP56Z.jpg[/t] Got this recently for $100, barely used and in basically perfect condition except for a bit of sticky stuff on the mirror. Mirror and insides actually cleaner than my DSLR. Even still had the original "Do Not Eat" packets
Don't know if this should go here, but it's something that may help fellow photographers/business people. Online accounting platform, allows you to import your bank details, get reports etc https://www.waveapps.com/

Great Choice.
i have so much stupid shit gear i am not or never will use so i'm taking it to ebay, like 18 items in total. in the past i haven't tried much at pictures, but i have never gotten what i would consider to be the full value of the lenses, so i'm hoping that my new style of pictures will solve that problem. i need to buy a new flash though, this one only fires full power. and i need another one so the lighting is more even. pretty decent though for my stupid setup i had (a piece of paper on a shelf taped to a box)
can I be one of you guys now c:
I got that camera as my first DSLR, its a good one to start with. I don't know if you bought a lens as well, but if you didn't, the Nikkor 35mm 1.8 or the stock 18-55mm are good ones to start with.
I planned on picking up the stock 18-55. Would you recommend the 35mm 1.8 over it? [editline]17th May 2013[/editline] I learned a lot about bodies but not much about lenses.
the 18-55mm offers more versatility, but the 35mm offers delicious bokeh.
finished posting all my shit to ebay that took forEVER taking pictures and evaluating the condition of 20 items at once by yourself sucks but if i get my BiN price for everything (lol so doubtful) i'll have made $830, so it might be worth it. here's my page, have some Canon FD stuff, Minolta Maxxum stuff, 2 pentax K lenses, and 2 flashes http://www.ebay.com/sch/atro3834/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3686

Plus 90% of people find stuff by using search anyway.
That yashica reminds me of how old autofocus slrs looked like cheap toys.
Feels like a cheap toy too haha. But it has twin control dials and auto modes, so it's pretty good for starting out film imo. I was impressed with it when I was messing around with it. When I sell something I just look for a similar item so I get to snatch all their search details, and then you get the free 12 photos as well in their new uploaded that does batch uploading. Not sure about fees though, I don't do anything other than basic.

I cant speak for the quality but since 200 bucks off of 700 is a good deal, here is a fast wide F mount lens for sale if anyone is looking: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/849813-REG/Bower_SLY2414N_24mm_f_1_4_Wide_Angle_Lens.html

Samyang makes some killer lenses, their 85 and 35 being especially quality. This lens is good too, does well on aps-c and a bit worse on FF, focusing isn't critically important so that's nice, I would still recommend a split prismatic or focus aide
got this lens in the mail today http://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/sigma-8-16mm-f4.5-5.6-dc-hsm-lenses.html That angle!

I bought my first DSLR camera on Wednesday. A Canon 600D with a 18-55mm 3.5 Zoom lens and got a 32GB Sandisk Ultra SD card to go with it. I also bought an M42 adapter so I could use my father's Helios 44M off his Zenit EM Olympic, For £5 being able to use that lens has made for some interesting shots. Makes the canon lens look like ass in all honesty. I don't profess to be a photographer (Audio is my thing) but I'm enjoying trying to nail down the technical aspect of it. I intend to do more video than anything with my 600D and in that respect it blows my sony handycam out the water.

If you do some nice video stuff, let us see it!
Doing an indoor party, thinking I need a new lens, Canon 550d, got 18-55mm, 100mm Macro, 70-200mm L. Thinking I need something in the range of 18mm, thoughts and suggestions?
