Is there such thing as a grip that screws into the 1/4" screw hole on the bottom of cameras that gives you a grip on the left side of the camera?

Apparently all I needed to do was google for flash bracket.
My camera collection:

The "film like highlights" is raw video.
The more I use my Contax G1 the more I want an A7
That 45mm is so good

Ultra-widescreen test. Also shows off film-like overexposure. No more digital bloom wall!
You got a blog or something that I can follow?

A7s looking tasty
I want contax g gear badly
[editline]7th June 2014[/editline]
A7 but no rf gear...smh
A7s looking tasty
I'd buy if it were 16mp, 12 is too small for the amount of landscapes I do. Otherwise I would love the option of completely silent shutter, XAVC-S, and the 400k ISO (which I would actually use).
Plus it's $2500, which is twice what you could get a regular A7 for on a good day

It was a long wait until I found an actual good deal on the equipment, took like 3 years of checking locally
Loaded my little Beirette Junior II with film.
Cant wait to shoot it
Just picked up an A7
Quick little thing, not quite an r8 though.

Does this mean you're back in the game? I remember you selling most if not all of your stuff not too long ago.

Plz bring it I have so much glass you can shoot on
I might need to order a Nex to alpha though (so you can 24mm 1.4)
Stick Leica glass on it.

Oh God what do
So my brother's going to buy a new DSLR soon so I can buy his old one off of him
What would be better
Rate Agree for Nikon D3200 w/ 18-55 and 55-200VR lenses for €589
Rate Winner for Nikon D7000 w/ 35mm f1.8 lens for ~€300 or €400
[editline]8th June 2014[/editline]
Leaning heavily towards the D7000 but for all I know the D3200 is much better, idk

i wonder how much it would cost to have leica glass on an a7
my friend's dad, who's obsessed with film photography, is selling a buncha old film cameras, and im thinking of buying one! (it'd be my first one)
here's the album

not really super knowledgeable with these old cameras, but so far from what i've researched is that the Asahi Pentax Spotmatic is pretty good?? i really have no clue so please help me! haha
and if you're in the Philippines by some chance hit me up if you want! she really wants to get rid of these stuff :p
If the light meters are broken on all of those, then you're better off buying one from Ebay. It'll pay for itself in the long run.

this isn't a thing you can do yourself unless you want to shoot only leica lenses on it (if you did, you'd have to use adaptors for your normal lenses to focus them past infinity)

I know, was just posting it because I didn't realise how much adapted lenses are affected.

Mostly it's affected because of the speedbooster optics, the guy designed the lens specifically with that glass piece in mind, making it an important part of the optical formula. The other test differences aren't that big, and certainly not worth making much fuss about. The differences listed fall within the range of even the slightest image misfocus (such as meticulously manually focusing on an an object 4 separate times).
Sensor stack thickness varies between cameras within a brand (Canon having between 1.8 and 2.45mm), so it's hard to declare an optimal condition for any camera and lens combo. To me this is one of those things that exists and it does affect performance, but so does the copy of the lens you have, your focusing never being entirely optimal, mounting problems causing slight decentering, etc
It's all a mess if you look hard enough

Yeah, that's what the article is about. What I took from it is that nothing is ever perfect so don't pixel peep too much and you'll be fine.
You'd have to like lab pixel peep to even notice that stuff. Like crazy 400% nonsense comparisons in perfectly level conditions
At that point it's more about physics than photography

Dang I should probably get a 32GB extreme card, my current 32GB card is rather slow. Thanks for the link!
