Ha, what a funny coincidence. I was thinking of checking the price of an extreme in the shower! If I installed a custom firmware to record at a bitrate of 52mbps, would the 45 mbps card be sufficient for most reasonable length videos or would I have to get the 80 mbps card? I ask because the latter isn't on sale. edit: Never mind, I just went ahead with the 32gb extreme ~~~plus~~~ to have it over with and not have to worry about it for a while.
Super-duper zoom. :b http://imgur.com/LxlD0PX

[editline]9th June 2014[/editline] the bank fucks up way too often
is there any difference between the ultra and the extreme besides the 15mb/s difference
is there any difference between the ultra and the extreme besides the 15mb/s difference
$5
If you mean apart from the extra speed, I don't think there's a difference in build quality or how long they'd last.
no its definitely not about the money but i wanted to maybe get the 64gig ultra but fuck it
I will probably go to London in the coming months and I'm not sure if I should bring my 35mm 1.8 or the 18-105mm kit lens for my D90? I don't want to bring both of them because the two won't fit in the smaller bag that I have, and my other bag is 4 times as big and not exactly good to carry around. What's your thoughts, which one would you bring?
I'd bring the 35mm 1.8 cos it (looks) smaller than the 18-105 and since I'd mostly use the zoom in that range the nicer aperture of the 35 and prime-ness would make it worth losing out the telephoto end for me
really really want to buy a fujifilm x100s.. Too bad I'm skint
I love my X-E2 but I think the X100S would be better suited to me. I'd get one in an instant too if I could as well.

To be honest, I'd miss the interchangeable lens format of the X-E2 in the end, I just wish it was as thin as the X100S when using a fast lens like the X100S.
There's rumours about a x100t, but I don't know much about it.. Seriously thinking about selling my 5D and buying fuji xt-1 or something instead. Will probably just use my 5D for filming and some concept/planned shots. Bah, so jaded [editline]15th June 2014[/editline] Put my 5D Mark3 up for sale. Now I'll just have to wait. Woop woop. Sold my 5D for a xt-1 + 35mm and 8000kr. awesooome!!!
that was fast
I'm always lucky on sales, dunno why. Same thing happened when I sold my rickety old drum-kit. Maybe I should take up economics
Nice, buy the 27mm pancake and it'll almost be pocketable.

I got the X-E2 because everyone I know with an x pro or x100s never really uses the OVF, just extra size really. What I do like about the x100s is how thin it is. What's the point in a small camera if the lens is going to stick out as well. I wish they'd make a lens that recesses into the body on X systems so it's super pancakey. The 27mm on an x-e2 is so close to being easily pocketable. I guess if I cared that much I'd have gotten a m4/3 cam but fuck using a crop factor of 2.
The X100s is a fantastic camera. I have an X100 and I love it.

I've tested my friends xt and the biggest difference seems to be the view through the mirrorless screen instead of through the glass(viewfinder), so you see exactly what you get, which is something I have to get used to. And the auto-focus is a tad bit slower, but it's more than enough for what I'm going to be using it for. Edit: just sent my 5D in the mail. It was like giving away a baby. All the shots and fun-times I had with this camera.. Ah well. In other news, New lens! http://www.fujirumors.com/
Sigma lens arrived, focus ring is stuck. Back to sender!
What do you guys think about selling a canon 28-135 to purchase a sigma 17-50 f/2.8 for $320? I rarely use my 28-135 so I thought I should replace it with a better piece of glass
good shout if you think you'd use it
can i pickle your brains for non-dslrs between £300-400 pref. with interchangeable lenses
Sony Nex 5T

Guys just a question, Is there a massive difference between the 600D and the 700D? Im able to purchase the 700D (and have been keen on it for a while now) but im just curious just to save that extra few £££

I chose the 600D because it really is not worth it, especially if you are not doing video.
