wow that's quite cheap, might get me one of those. does it also work well when shoting vertical?
Anyone know of any cheap camera bags which are pretty resistant to rain and slight knocks? I currently use my canvas vans bag but I wrap my camera up in a shirt or something, but I'd like a bag I can just keep it all in instead of having to go through loads of clothing and pockets just to get a lens and a camera out... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AO3TOYQ/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=0M226DBYFRXMSJTMPN7X&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455333147&pf_rd_i=468294 something similar to this I suppose, im not too bothered about lens pockets considering I only have 2 lenses and I only usually use one a day anyway.
The chrome niko is water proof I think. But it's a bit on the small size, designed as a camera bag and nothing else. I have the hundreds camera back pack, which has a waterproof zipper, but I wouldn't leave it in the rain.
I use a Lowepro Traveler 150. It's pretty small, but it holds my camera, 2-3 lenses, and I can strap a tripod on the side, so it's good enough for me. I've also got a huge Quantaray U60 which could hold all of that and a small child, but I only ever bring that for travel.
My a850 came in the mail today! My a77 and 16-50mm are now gone, but hopefully I made a good trade. Very excited for full frame

At low ISO yeah. But it just depends on the expectations of it
Expanding equipment selection rapidly, also I'm OCD about lining things up What I really lack now is a good fisheye sorry for crappy picture :[
Too bad you couldn't use one of those cameras to take a better picture :v:
Too bad you couldn't use one of those cameras to take a better picture :v:
I dropped my cellphone and now it doesn't focus. (I am more careful with those DSLRs and rarely handle them drunk unlike my phone)
anyone familiar with the panagor 24mm f/2.5? I'm trying to cop one but I don't know how far I should take the bidding because the last time I bought a non Zuiko lens it did't end well so I'm trying to budget here. [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] FYI it was the Vivitar 28mm OM build by Komine, same as the 24mm Panagor. What do?
On film it's probably fine. Not quite an OEM but should perform decently. Your best option on a budget would be the Sigma 24mm 2.8 super wide, followed by the Tamron 24mm f2.5
Only a week until I buy my m-rokkor 40mm f/2...mark my words...
are those m43 voightlanders are magical as they seem?
are those m43 voightlanders are magical as they seem?
I mean they are great lenses but those prices seem extremely high for just an m43 lens. I'm not doubting the future of the system in the slightest, but to me they seem a little expensive because I'm sure they aren't much better than their full frame focal length and aperture equivalents which are significantly cheaper.

might seem rude to ask but why is what i'm wondering
Meet the latest adittion to my collection. I bought this boy while I was in the UK visiting communistcat. Had to make a lens panel for it, but now it's ready for use. It's a MPP Micro Technical Mark VII, but not just a ordinary one. This one was part of the RAF S92 kit, so it's ex-military camera. I didn't know that when I was buying it. Guys, I wanna ask, is this worth buying? I've got a few days to decide. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nerotrigger/miops-smartphone-controllable-high-speed-camera-tr
Should I buy a camera bag for my camera when I'm out and about or should I just not get one?
Generally a camera bag is best suited for when you have multiple lenses, extra batteries and accessories that you want on hand, or if you're going to be going for long periods potentially not using the camera. If you've just got the camera and one lens that you use, and you'll be fine holding onto it the whole day (or at least keeping it strapped to you) I personally wouldn't take a bag for a usual day out on the town.
fuck me, i'm gassing way too hard. i keep looking for used lenses and other camera gear a whole lot lately. it started a month or two ago when i decided that i need 1 good piece of glass on my 6D. at first i decided to go for a simple canon 50mm 1.4, then a tamron 24-70 2.8 and right now i'm staring at the samyang lenses and now i'm thinking about going that route. i also wanted a strap, flash trigger and a reflector. baaah, i should just go out and shoot more instead of entertaining myself with all these brilliant spending plans. [editline]16th August 2014[/editline] i also need a proper backpack for my setup as well.
might seem rude to ask but why is what i'm wondering
Usually have one camera set on timelapses when I'm out on the job One for wide and one for tight shots GH4 is main video camera 5D III is for low light G6 is for timelapses and drone work the 5D II is backup Also just got a job with Woodchuck cider so that's cool

watch the sharpening in post, can give details a slight "halo" it's good to lower sharpening in the camera and then bump it slightly in post
watch the sharpening in post, can give details a slight "halo" it's good to lower sharpening in the camera and then bump it slightly in post
i removed sharpening in adobe camera raw then did a touch on unsharp mask - the original was slightly out of focus, however flickr ramped it up the ass [editline]18th August 2014[/editline] on a site like vimeo you wouldn't have any issues like that - i'll try knock together a test tonight i shot a ton more outdoors today
Would anybody else agree that generally, Nikon is better for photography and Canon is better at video?
umm, nope?
