Oh no I meant the light sensitivity would be better in the sense that bigger pixels mean the camera would be able to differentiate between signal and noise better.

i'm going to build a camera support system, initially from wood as a proof of concept. using photoshop to work out the heights and shit needed. not ideal at all

I got some film yesterday too, nothing fancy just 5 rolls of agfa. I live for the stuff

Yeah, I'm gonna invest for when I go to Tokyo I think. I'm starting to lose interest in film I think, I want a nice compact system like a fuji x100 or a7 but $£$

The exposure latitude of portra 400 is insane, ISO 25 to 3200 with reg development is no biggie. Also, I'm currently scanning my portra 400 rolls from Berlin with my plustek scanner and the results are so much better than the flatbed at my school.

$20 got me a Left Hand Grip, Pistol Grip, and Polarizer filter for a Hasselblad 500C! Going to try and adapt the Left Hand Grip to my RB67 but it might be to small. We will see!

I'm very bummed that the iPhone 6 didn't have the rumored f1.8 lens. I'm going to keep my iPhone 4S, no compelling phones to me at the moment

might get the deotech contax AF adapter, but for now I'm kicking it with manual focus stuff. Very excited to use my FD lenses, going to use the 20mm a lot!

Anyone have suggestions on a good flash that's compatible with a Sony a58?

The Sony f43m is one of the nicest on the market, but it's pricey. I use a Sony f56am, but you would need an adapter to use that. Good power output though, and works pretty well.
