i bet your 6D still clicks as well as it did when it came out the box
My D60 clicks just as well as it did out of the box.
Click clack mother fucker.
my 6D still does the clicking noise
I don't think I could deal with not having a shutter sound in a camera.
i love the shutter sound of the OM-2 spot program

i enjoy the click clacks from my 6D echoing deep inside my soul
The a7r shutter is hugely loud and makes two noises, the a850 is solid (not much mirror slap because of the weird mirror design), the rx100 is almost silent
Then there's the 9xi which sounds like it's from the future

I had to look that up on youtube, the A7R sounds pretty cool, like a film camera.
It sounds like it's snapping someone's neck
It's pretty near impossible to take a shit photo with the 85 1.2 - it's like pay to win
new lens bitchessss

wow never heard of this neck photography thing, gotta try it asap
[editline]7th December 2014[/editline]
ive tried night photography and long exposure photography and soft focus photography but this neck thing sounds cool as fuck
So I raided the camera store today for something cheap and walked out with a timer, 80-200 and a Stitz tripod for $40.

Before I could even get to use the tripod I slammed my car door on it, breaking the head. :suicide:
I don't know. I could attempt to repair it.

Olympus E-PL2 with 17mm pancake and 14-42mm for $140, anyone know if it'd be worth it?
broken my 580exii
the rear two screws on the hotshoe base part have essentially broken out of the plastic, so getting new screws isn't an option.
need to find a new one of these

ideally before Saturday. can't find anywhere in the uk that sells them annoyingly
[editline]10th December 2014[/editline]
so I either pay for a part from the US which could take weeks (~£60) or take it in for repair (£80-100) even though its literally as simple as unscrewing and unplugging the base, plugging the new one in and screwing it in, less than 3 minutes work
[editline]10th December 2014[/editline]
fuck it, bought some industrial strength epoxy - gonna glue it back together and see how well it holds
glue and tape are your friends
Just for shits and giggles, what's a good cell phone adapter thing that acts as a handle and can be attached to a tripod?
