Got to talk to some video people at the church I volunteer at today, there might be a chance I get to join their team. If I do manage to do so, i'll be able to use this more often

(That's a C500 + a Carl Zeiss CP.2 50mm/T2.1)
That's like a $30,000 canon body right there :O
i don't even like cp2s. sure, if someone gave me one i wouldn't say no but superspeeds are so much nicer looking and t1.3

What is that top handle part from? Like what model is it?
That would be be something I'd add to a DSLR to make it more of a camcorder with that top handle.
Super speeds are almost 2x the price of cp2. lenses though, and the superspeed versions of cp2. lenses are at least $1000 more

I'm pretty sure the top handle is for the C500 only, and it comes with the body
Oh cool, went into the website and read what comes in the box.

I want something like that. Like the handle and monitor like a traditional pro camcorder.

A handle like this?

Yes.
It seems like I could attach that on any DSLR but the problem is, the angle of the mount might be different judging by the photo. So it might not fit properly, although a simple hotshoe extender should fix that. I would have to look for a really short extender. I wouldn't be able to use the controls on the handle and the cable is probably proprietary or HDMI plus some other plug for the controls.
That Amazon thing Trogdon posted about yesterday was a pricing error by Amazon.
All the orders were cancelled, so yeah, no cheap samyang lenses :(
My company has a c300, that thing is pretty crazy.
I think our fleet is a 5D, 7D, HPX and the C300
and my little G6 (which can fly in the drone! :D)
Not really, looks top of the market already price wise.

Well I'm a bit jelly, the most I've touched was a 1Dx w/ 16-35mm f/2.8L for DSLRs and a RED EPIC with some cine prime lens on a shoulder rig.

Willows' fleet is a C500, C300, C100, a 5D MKII, and a 7D for the video teams, production video has a lot more cameras for live production
Can't tell if I should save for an A850 or the new FF mirrorless sony a7
Or a new computer so editing doesn't take forever :/

Ah live production, it's almost always with pro camcorders with HDI / SDI industry standard outputs.
Just bought my first film camera!

its such a good little camera :')
Just a quick question, How would you go about focusing a Agfa Silette Mark 5?
I'm coming from no film camera background at all...
A mate of mine has a Topca 325B hot shoe flash collecting dust, will it be usable on my Canon EOS 10 or Canon EOS 500D? I can't find much on google about this Topca model.
Ohhhh my man wants to trade some vintage stuff for a Xbox VGA cable and games. It's a Olympus CM10 and some vivitar lenzes mostly tele F3,5 135mm and F4,5 75-240mm and F1,8 50mm. Did I just hit the jackpot?
I wouldn't try using the flash, incompatible flashes can short circuit your camera if the voltages are severely different
And the other deal is okay, the vivitar lenses aren't anything special (I would venture to say the 75-240 is actually pretty bad), and the 50mm 1.8 is the absolute cheapest lens of any camer manufacturers lineup. I think Nikon and Contax (by extension, Rolleiflex) are the only brand of old manual focus SLR 50mm 1.8's (or 1.7's) that fetch above $30 on average. I'd pass personally, but if you don't need the games or cables it's up to you. Telephoto film zooms are the bane of my existence
Picked up this today and got some more on the way...

Poundland. Figured they do 24 and 36 for the same price....
Can anyone recommend me some BnW film to try out? Here's a list of what I have already shot:
Kodak TMax 400
Kodak TriX 400
Ilford Delta 400
Ilford Delta 3200
Ilford HP5
Ilford FP4+
Ilford XP2 Super
I guess I should try out a Fujifilm but IDK which one(s).

If you didn't already know, we've been having a crisis with the AGFA film and poundland with everyones local stopping stocking it. If the one near me doesn't stock it then could I get you to buy a bulk amount and ship? I'll cover all costs of course.

Of course. Checked mine yesterday and Poundland had a whole shelf of the stuff 200+.
Also, how much should I pay for a Canon EOS 500?
