Personally I don't like the way anamorphic lenses render out of focus areas.

i think it's a highly stylised look, i wouldn't use it in all my films and where i can, but if i feel it fits or as an experiment i'd defo try it out. the glass for only £60 and i can always sell it to some #hype dslr filmmaker
I got an RX100 specifically for longer shots as it's tiny and gets to an equiv of 100mm on the long end. Bringing a long prime is a bit limiting, but it works for when I need it.
I read a bit about that camera about being so awesome, so why didn't you choose the mark 2?

I think he bought it before the MK2 came out.
The analog family, slowly expanding. Still aiming to get a Zuiko 35mm f2 but they are all so expensive and I have like no monies for a while.

Yeah, it looks like a few images merged together while with other lenses, it's many images merged together

Does that film eos have a working shutter? I bought two of those and all had a sticky shutter. Too scared to buy another one since.

It had a sticky shutter, just get some rubbing alcohol and Q-tips and clean it out. Then cycle the shutter for a few minutes.
Before cleaning 1 out of 6 shots were misfires, sometimes even more. After cleaning I sometimes get 1 out of 36 shots that is a misfire. Over time the sticky residu comes back so the camera does require some maitenance.

Canon has really been pumping out the new bodies lately. Gotta love the Hyperswivel technology, Bionic Luminance Undulation Reflex, and TruLite Dynamic Range Reduction technology.
I don't see why they're comparing it to the A7 though. I'd take an A7 all day over that.

That's too bad it's a great analog camera with so many options plus the grip feels just right, none of those baby hand grips you see on DSLRs these days.

i hope everyone realised that the 75D is a joke right i mean BLUR technology
That lens selection...
Samsung cameras actually have a 30mm f2 pancake, a 45mm 1.8 (and a version of this lens that does 3D in a single lens), and an 85mm 1.4
All have gotten crazy good reviews from what I've seen (the 45mm is considered near perfect)

I thought it was actually announced and the guy just made fun of it.
I don't really follow DSLR releases anymore because they are always the same.
Yeah it's an actual joke I just thought it was really well done
Yeah it's an actual joke I just thought it was really well done
When I read this in the morning, I thought it was real. Then I read about the 2x thickness AA filter and I'm like wtf. Then the app pricing made it very obvious.
Also, how much better is the All-I video on a 6D?
My 6D is arriving today!
Waiting is painful :v:
About to buy 5d mark iii. my wallet is shivering with fear

ignore the bit at the end which i forgot to sort.
So I recently got my hands on the new sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 on a 60D and oh my god I need to get this amazing lens. Solid build quality, I love how smooth the Rings are.
