so i want to project one or more of my negatives onto a wall where can i get the print stock film/get someone to put that shit onto some print stock film is this all a far fetched dream
I'm a little confused by this question, could you rephrase?
Welp. Just ordered a Fujifilm X-E1, Fujinon 35mm f1.4 and 18mm f2. Edit: Oops didn't have enough in my account at the time. I'll order it later.
Still waiting for money to transfer between my accounts so I can order it. Edit: I thought it would merge.
Edit: I thought it would merge.
it's okay
Two posts for the price of one!
Thanks for accepting my double post, guys <3 :')
I'm a little confused by this question, could you rephrase?
i have a bunch of negatives i want to project on a wall how would i go about doing it
get positive transparencies made up and a slide projector i.e. a lot of effort
You would have to convert to positive slides and use a slide projector. [editline]7th November 2013[/editline] ninjæd
so i guess i'll need some negative film with low ISO and no orange base and rephotograph the negatives and then get a 6x6 slide projector with inserts for 35mm too
i.e. a lot of effort
havent got anything better to do
Scan it and project it using a pc?
make contact 'prints' onto positive slide film? would be easier
make contact 'prints' onto positive slide film? would be easier
wouldn't that still be negative and with the brown base (that's what i meant when i said rephotograph the negatives)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reversal_film
i've already got the negatives i want to use, for this i'd need to go to wherever and rephotograph it with slide film
Have you ever made prints using a negative enlarger? You can literally put the negative film over the positive film and 'transfer' the image. The entire motion picture industry is based on this.
I'll take some self portraits tomorrow using the brenizer method, and since i've never attempted anything like this i'm pretty sketched about it. i'm bringing my d5100, an old 50 1.8, a 10-20 3.5 and a nice manfrotto tripod. am i set to go? also, does somebody know a helpful tutorial, or something else along those line, on how to go about doing this?
Use the 50, any wider and it's too distorted Frame your body in one full shot, and then pano the rest of the scene. Also make sure EVERYTHING is on manual (focus, white balance, shutter, aperture, and ISO)
Hey is the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 any good?
Hey is the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 any good?
Tamron 17-50 2.8 is better
Is the sigma good for $300 plus 3 uv/close up filters, used and in very good condition? Zoom and focus ring are smooth.
I now own two Leicas yay, a Leica III and an M4-2. I'm also on holiday to Holland. And theres a camera fair on Sunday.
Going to get an ELPH 300HS soon, I know it's not really anything compared to the people here with DSLRs, but, it's a start. And It has good video quality.
ebay
Thats where I am looking but the camera I want never pops up and the lenses are being sold overpriced with a set price. It looks like the american market is more active but i dont want to pay shipping+customs.
Apparently the Canon 18-200mm is the least sharp on the middle of the zoom range..
