why is there no canon 2D, 3D, or 4D
I hope they're reserved for compact mirrorless full frame. If they can put a man on the moon why can't they put a 35mm sensor in my phone.
Canon 3D for 3D support
why stop at 35mm tbh just have the whole back of the phone be a huge array of micro cameras
Anybody here have a Sony Alpha camera? If so what are some good lenses? Right now my setup is: Sony A65 Minolta "Big Beercan" 75-300mm f4.5 Kit Lens 18-55mm f3.5

I would say either a Sony 35mm 1.8 or minolta 50mm 1.7, they are fun starting primes. I've owned quite a few Minolta lenses, if you have an idea of what you want I can point you in the right direction.

I saw 70-300mm G series for around 300, do you think that's a good deal? Better than my Minolta? Thanks.

At that price I would certainly pick it up regardless of the performance gains, a lot of equity in that one.
What do you guys shoot on Sony?
What do you mean?
im probably late as fuck on this but this is really cool http://vimeo.com/41869140
What do you guys shoot on Sony?
Big game usually
Target practice with Sony, big game with Canon because it's a cannon
Idk, face detection really helps with hunting, my camera can identify animals pretty easily
What do you guys shoot on Sony?
snitches and bitches

It reminds me of the Making of Steinway L1037. As irresponsible and foolish as it is, video like that makes me want to drop out of industrial design school and build things.

I don't pick up my injection molded plastic/metal mix DSLR and go "Wow, its amazing how this was mass produced along with tens of thousands of the same camera in a computer controlled factory."
Is it worth the thousands of dollars extra to know your camera is slightly more unique? It's a fashion accessory. Want to make your camera unique? Take it unique places, take unique pictures, give it a history none of the other thousands of factory made cameras have.
The audio in the video was so good, you could hear everything being made.

With my X-E2, there's more dynamic range at ISO 800 than at ISO 200. When shooting, if you choose ISO 200, the dynamic range can only be set to 100% (it doesn't provide units) and at ISO 800 it can be set at 400%. When shooting highly contrasted scenes at ISO 200 I get more blown highlights and blacks, but at ISO 800 the scene is flatter with more detail in the highlights and more detail in the shadows than at ISO 200. I always thought the base ISO (200 on the X-E2) gives more detail and dynamic range?

With the dynamic range setting.
