use an external flash but replace the insides with a water pistol that shoots out liquidized vaseline
Have 2 camera bodies and have them side by side so you can make the photos 3D in post
why do people put the cameras when filming in 3d eye distance apart like why not a meter or hundreds that would look pretty sick
[QUOTE=Eltro102;43136064]why do people put the cameras when filming in 3d eye distance apart like why not a meter or hundreds that would look pretty sick[/QUOTE]
It wouldn't be 3D, but rather a difference in perspective and it would be super noticeable that the cameras were far away
"The Telestereoscope is an optical device that increases the distance between your eyes. This has the effect of enhancing your perception of depth. For some people, it makes the world seem miniaturized: cars become toys, and landscapes look like model train sets. For others, the environment deepens and splits into many distinct planes. One viewer described it as "like looking at the real world through a Viewmaster.""
mad shit

something like this has been done already if I remember correctly.

they already put (some of) them (a bit) further apart than a typical IPD, because generally they are too big to be that close together
i don't know about you, but for me exaggerated 3D is what gives me headaches in 3D films, like that scene at the start of avatar where the ship is landing and the hills in the distance are very definitely at varying distances just to make sure you know it's all ~so 3D~, when in real life you wouldn't really be able to tell
Don't know if I want a Pentax ME, or a Canon S100. All I have now is a Sony DSC-H9, and it's old, has a bunch of stuck pixels and if it isn't outdoors, noon, and sun out, anything above ISO 100 is grainier than a sandy asshole.
How hard is it to deal with film in TYOOL 2013? Can I just take rolls to a Wolf Camera and get them developed with reasonable quality?
yes but if you're going to go for film buy something cheap + cheerful like a trip 35 or om
if you're just going with film because u dont have a digital camera worth a damn then i wouldn't bother with trying to create a proper system unless you're planning to invest a bunch of money into it like i wouldn't really go for a film slr unless u are planning to get a dslr with the same mount + willing to buy nice lenses worth keeping, just get a cheap fixed lens camera or om 10 with the standard lens
[editline]10th December 2013[/editline]
yes you can still get film developed pretty much everywhere
[editline]10th December 2013[/editline]
i mean it's more effort than just sticking ur digital card into the digital vagina and getting ur pitchers to come up in a whizz-jiffy but it's not really that much

w/e
For the most part film SLR's are pretty similar in terms of picture quality, just look at whichever one you can get for the cheapest.
so apparently striking a flint and steel in front of my camera while in wireless remote control shutter release mode will set it off.
My kit lens didn't seem to have enough luxury to it for my tastes, so I added some with a sharpie.

For Nikon the ring should have been painted gold.

Which is the Nikon equivalent of L Lenses afaik
but nikon lenses don't have any L for ~luxury~
The red rings thing is a marketing thing.

pretty much. it more or less equates to lenses that are more difficult for canon to make, and thus they are more expensive and earn the red ring. they are seen as being "best of the best", but in reality that isn't true. some of canon's highest performing optics don't have the designation (their 17-55mm 2.8, 85mm 1.8, and 100mm f2), because they are optically more simple designs. meanwhile, some of their L lenses are considered inferior to the competition (the 16-35mm 2.8 comes to mind mostly).
largely a marketing thing yes, to the point where people see the L as iconic and vindictive of great quality which isn't necessarily true

What kind of nouveau riche trash would buy that anyway.

Mount is as a dashcam in your Ferrari car.
i can't get this ml-l3 knockoff to work with my d5100 and it's starting to annoy me. i've been looking online for a solution, but i wasn't successful.
I saw that 'blad the other week in Harrods, £20k doesn't seem too bad for a go faster camera. :v: I was more interested in the Leica display though!

It's silly when people shove their L glass in your face
