not that hard to add an s dude.
You've called someone "dude" and mentioned you went with "him" to places all your life. Suddenly if you say "him" or "he" the person becomes enraged as if you nailed him to a cross. Do you not see where talking to other people about this individual would become very incomprehensible? Wouldn't it make a hell of a lot more sense for them to grow some thicker skin and stop bitching about the prefix they were fine with for the past 20 years? Had they been a "she" throughout school, and the majority of their life, that would be quite different. Deciding one day that you're going to flip a fuck over being called "he" out of the blue is outrageous. Especially when this is something you just discovered and hopped on the bandwagon for.
we need black history month. we must remember the days of slavery....
So I suppose we should also have an Chinese history month, and Native American history month, because Americans took land from the Natives and looked down on Chinese immigrants? No, you should celebrate any culture's history all of the time, not relegate it to a single month.

Well OP, I think you hit the nail right on the head, I can't think of many responses to your argument and I'm usually able to argue for whatever side despite my beliefs. Personally I agree with your statement, it's a very, very interesting viewpoint to take.
I suppose it is better than nothing, but he was suggesting that we need Black History month to remember slavery, which is quite ridiculous.
Yeah that's not really the point of black history month.
I think the point is that by saying you like to wear girls clothes you're enforcing the way people think of 'girl clothes' and thus enforcing the gender role that any actual born girl who does not like to wear 'girl clothes' is considered a butch, creating a cycle that leads nowhere except people feeling they can't be themselves
Are you saying that just because people say: "girl clothes", means they are being inconsiderate of women's feelings?
