[sp]I read somewhere that they felt she really didn't have a place in Andy's room. She was a porcelain doll, not really a toy, and not something Andy would be that inclined to keep after so many years.[/sp]
Don't forget that, since she's porcelain, she had no place in Sunnyside, not even in the Butterfly Room. Have you seen children play with porcelain?
-snip, because one wrong post and the world hates you-
spoiler tags, please.
get over it, there aren't even any real spoilers there. don't enter a long toy story 3 thread to expect to not see spoilers. that's all there is in these kinds of threads after so many pages..
And, yeah, it's not a spoiler since it's told at the very and of the film AND it's not even part of the main plot...
Plus, if you've seen the trailers you'll know what happens anyways.
If I wasn't with friends and my girlfriend wasn't sitting next to me, I would have burst in tears in many parts near the end. Mainly [sp]the trash incinerator[/sp] and [sp]the ending with Andy realizing how much he loved his toys[/sp].
thats what i was thinking but then we all started crying it was so beatiful
I just bought Woody for my brother! It's accurate to the dimensions from the film and even has a certificate of authenticity signed by John Lasseter. I plan on buying Buzz too. I saw Hamm and Rex when I went into the Disney store. They even had Lotso and guess what.. HE DOES SMELL LIKE STRAWBERRIES! That's not creepy at all.
I laughed the entire movie. It was sad at times of course :/
After seeing this film I went out and found my old battery-less Woody toy from yeeeeeaaarrrssss ago.
You should buy the whole set and remake the whole movie with real toys. :v:
That's a great idea! But that's gonna take awhile since these toys don't come cheap. Woody was $60 and so is Buzz. I dunno about the other toys though. But the $60 is well worth it! Woody came in this cool box that looks like what his box would look like. Buzz also comes with the actual box like in the movie. [editline]09:57PM[/editline] Oh and Woody could talk back at you because one of his modes could detect your voice and he talks back. Kind of creeped me out when he first talked back. Reminded me of the scene from TS1 when he creeped out Sid.
I have that same shirt.
Only cool people have that shirt :3:
I got mine from Walmart. :v:
Is it bad that I'm asking my parents for a Woody and a Buzz for my birthday this year? :frog: Despite turning 19? I want a Rex and a Slinky too. All actual size, o'course. :v:
I would kill for a Slinky.

"YOU HAVE SAVED OUR LIVES, WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!"
I got Woody for my Birthday from a mate, and I bought Buzz myself. They're both in my room, and I'm 19.
I think toy story 3 was a bit more darker than the other two =p i would love a woody and a buzz lol
I would kill for a Slinky.
I had one a looong time ago before Toy Story was even out. It didn't look EXACTLY like Slinky but it was hella similar.
I would kill for a Slinky.
You wouldn't kill for a Slinky because you know he'd never forgive you.
You wouldn't kill for a Slinky because you know he'd never forgive you.
Just give him a squeaky toy shaped like a steak, he'll forget about it.
So I went to the theater to see TS3 again. And there was this kid playing on the lobby with a Woody toy. I looked at him, and there were some times where the kid would stop playing and hide on the bathroom (there were like, me and him on the lobby). And he didn't notice me. So he repeated that process. And at the third time, he came back, and said to his Woody toy: "Why won't you move?" I laughed to myself until he finished the phrase. "Why won't you move like you did back at home?" Heartwarming moment.

You're gonna wanna read this
“Well, I really tried my best to end the story of Andy and his toys and bring that story to a close in a really nice way at the end of this film. That being said, we know that people love the characters, love Woody and Buzz, and would hate to say good-bye to them completely. I don’t know that there would ever be a ‘[Toy Story] 4.’ We don’t have any plans for one — but we are trying to find ways to keep the characters alive. We have announced we’re going to do a short film in front of ‘Cars 2′ that uses the ‘Toy Story’ characters. We’re going to keep them alive; they’re not going away forever.”
I cried at the end. Also, I didn't read the whole thread, but did anyone else notice: -The garbageman was Sid, he had on the same shirt -I'm pretty sure the mom at the end of the movie was pregnant, maybe leaving some room for another film. (If Pixar follows through to make yet another sequel, it better not disappoint) [editline]09:31PM[/editline] I think it was genius how Andy grew up with the original audience. I'm the same age as Andy was portrayed in the movie, it just adds that much more emotion and understanding to the whole thing.

Saw this last night, definitely worth the price of admission. I cried for the first time at a movie when[sp]Andy gave the toys to Bonnie and said that he and Woody had "been through a lot together." I just felt exactly what he was feeling, and I view it as the perfect ending to a series that I've grown up with and loved my entire life.[/sp]
