I just bought Woody for my brother! It's accurate to the dimensions from the film and even has a certificate of authenticity signed by John Lasseter. I plan on buying Buzz too. I saw Hamm and Rex when I went into the Disney store. They even had Lotso and guess what.. HE DOES SMELL LIKE STRAWBERRIES!
I still have the original Woody and Buzz toys from when Toy Story 1 came out. I'll get a pic tomorrow.
Dude, that doll is awesome. I loved TS3 in Imax 3d. Very good story.
Just saw it, probably the most emotional movie i've seen all year. Almost made my cry a few times.
Just got back from seeing it and oh my god For the first 3/4 of the movie I was not that impressed. Sure, it was great but there seemed to be something lacking from it, then the ending happened. Oh my god that ending. [sp]Seeing all the toys accepting their imminent doom made me start crying. Im not ashamed of it. If they all would have died then my childhood would have died with them. Omg the nostalgia and connection I felt to those toys was so intense D: It was actually kind of funny, but right before they all held hands I was thought to myself "Hmm I wonder were those three aliens went to" then completely forgot all about them because OMG WOODY AND THE GANG ARE ALL GOING TO DIE BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, then when they saved them all I was like Oh there they are[/sp] :v: [sp]I also teared up at the very end when Andy was describing what a good toy Woody was and how no matter what he never gives up on you[/sp]:saddowns: Fuck, just thinking about it makes me teary eyed. All in all, it was a amazing movie. I need to see this again along with the first two movies.
I must admit the [sp]incinerator[/sp] scene drove me all "woah". Wasn't expecting such a desperate and saddening scene in a pixar movie. Also, I thought the three little green guys [sp]got crushed by this truck[/sp] and I've been really surprised when [sp]they come back after that without a scratch[/sp].

Awesome movie Scared me shitless a few times, like when [sp]big baby hears the alien squeak when they're headed to the dumpster.[/sp] i thought the 3d was worth it. ticket + glasses were only 6.50 total for me, so why not pay the extra $2?
[media[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i432V79s1w @ 1:10, when that part of the song came on, along with the climax, I was burying myself in my seat with anxiety.
Best movie ever. I started tearing up at the [sp]incinerator scene[/sp] and then off and on until the part where [sp]Andy was talking about Woody[/sp]. From there on the floodgates were open, I genuinely started cry and for some reason I just couldn't stop myself... The [sp]Spanish version of "You've Got a Friend in Me"[/sp] was nice though, it helped me regain my composure. :P [editline]01:20AM[/editline] My eyes still hurt 5 hours after the movie.
An emotional journey the whole way through.....
Loved it when [sp]During, the credits, a new box arrived and Zurg was in it.[/sp] I hope they make a short about THEIR story. It'd be great. Speaking of shorts, I was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by the opening short. How the fuck do they come up with this shit? Opinions?
Just got back from it. It was fucking great, I cried so much... The best movie Iv'e seen in a couple of years, lol
Did anyone else expect the toys to get systematically slaughtered in the [sp]garbage dump[/sp] scene? Like, [sp]the LGMs get run over by a truck, Slinky gets ground up in the magnet crusher, etcetera etcetera.[/sp]
Yeah, that's actually the "darker" scene of the movie, since pixar actually never tempted to make their characters endure such rude treatments.
[sp]Spanish Buzz[/sp] was awesome!
[sp]Spanish Buzz[/sp] was awesome!
You can see it in the trailer, it's not a spoiler lol

But tickets cost only $5.50 here.
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one tearing up at the ending, it was so heartwarming. Also, the [sp]Incinerator scene[/sp] was actually pretty surprising, I never thought a Pixar movie could make me so nervous like that. Edit: fuck me
Spoilers!

Just watched it with my younger brother, movie was awesome :D I had woody and buzz toys years ago.
Going to see it in 1:15 hours, Come on time :-(
i didn't read through all the pages and i might be late [sp]but how did slink drop down from the magnet[/sp]
Its a Fenster-Shneckler 380, finest child-proof lock in the world.
i had to exercise 100% of my willpower not to cry
Jesus Christ, that furnace scene was like the end of Revenge of the Sith, except I was that close to crying. All of my friends were about to.
I didn't really think they'd die at the [sp]incinerator scene, I knew they wouldn't do that to a childhood thing. I did cry at the end though, like every-fucking-body[/sp]
after [sp] andy leaves and says "thanks guys" and the music is almost at it's end[/sp] I always get a lump in my throat, unlike "Marley and Me" which DID make me cry, didn't have a lasting effect. I've seen this movie 3 times now, same effect.
