Great movie. Of course I was choking up, that's my childhood right there.
BUT! That incinerator scene seemed a bit reminiscent of 9/11, no? The whole realization of death and accepting it thing? Yeah, that left a bad taste in my mouth.
I didn't cry because it was a children's movie.
Well aren't you just such a man...

I'm saying that that scene reminded me of the people in the World Trade Center. I hate to bring that kind of thing up, but don't tell me they weren't similar.

I don't really see the connection of two towers collapsing and [sp]some toys (almost) being incinerated.[/sp]

The people in the WTC never knew they were going to die.
I saw it early today, and wow... I can hold in tears and just be emotional for any other film... but this... this made something tick.
I left that theatre crying, with a quivering lip, trying - and failing - to hold back tears for a half hour.
When you grow up with something, when you've literally been with it all your life - you're going to cry when it leaves.

You should've at least compared it to the holocaust or something, but 9/11?
The movie was fucking awesome, saw it with a bunch of my friends.
[sp]Spanish Buzz was awesome, Ken's clothing scene was awesome, everything in general was awesome. Seriously. Some parts made me want to cry, and the Bonnie parts were fantastic. I want to see more of them all just having fun together in a TS4. Bonnie's toys were seriously great. The ending just got to me. [/sp]

I think this is a perfect time to end the series.
I agree, but, buttercup :saddowns:

TS4 should be the return of Lotso and the Stinky Pete the Prospector. It's not like both of these enemies are in situations where they are stuck forever.
[sp]Lotso's truck can stop and he can get off of it. Prospector can escape from the little girl and they can both set out to get Woody.[/sp]
Shit would be cash.
Is it bad that I'm asking my parents for a Woody and a Buzz for my birthday this year? :frog: Despite turning 19?
I want a Rex and a Slinky too. All actual size, o'course. :v:
Ive had my Woody and Buzz sitting on my shelf ever since Toy Story 2 came out. Also, I would LOVE to see more of Zurg. Too bad this might be the last one.
If they ever make a new Toy Story they should include Fake Buzz.

[sp]Lotso and the Prospector would have no idea that Andy gave all his toys to Bonnie, so that wouldn't work for TS4[/sp]

/b/ ruining my childhood for forever
I wonder what toys from films/shows would be like if the came alive. Like Buzz in the first movie? Take say an Iron Man action figure for example. What about Transformers? Its fun to think about this kind of stuff.
who else is a bad person and stole glasses
who else is a bad person and stole glasses
'Please recycle your 3D glasses after the showing.'
FUCK THAT.
Rex is the most :smith: Toy Story character ever
I'm glad he made a friend at the end
Fucking incredible. I actually had to try not to cry at the end.
[sp]The incinerator scene was really powerful though. While UP's montage at the beginning was pretty sad, that paled in comparison to this.[/sp]
And not only was the story A+, the visual effects were also great. You know its a Pixar movie when they pay attention to even the smallest details. And the pizza planet truck made a cameo again, in tradition.
I laughed when I saw the Totoro toy. I think I was the only one in the audience that got that. Then again, there were only 9 people in the audience, including my friends. And none of them got it.
