I dislike that high pitched noise that people play. Half the people I know can't hear it and so whoever plays it normally gets away with it.

I was awoken by a really loud "bang" in my dream. It was so loud that when I woke up, I still heard it echoing through my head. I asked if anyone else heard it, but no one did. It was all in my head. Crazy what the mind can do.

I hate the sound of foam packaging.

The sound of some zipper running up or something be rubbed on some bendable scrap metal REALLY just drives me insane.

I hate it if you're in class or somewhere public where it's quite, and suddenly some girls get over excited and make some sort of high pitched scream, or suddenly start talking really loud.

I find it's the small noises that fucking grate my teeth, for example people who haven't seemed to master one of the most basic human functions of breathing and instead make a sniffing noise while exhaling and inhaling. Or people who chomp loudly while eating.

Loud music is ok. It's more the spontaneous loud sounds I dislike.

We now have a coffee machine that takes the time out of every session to make a horrendous noise to notify the entire street that it is now commencing coffee-making. It's not just once either. It does it for everything. :saddowns:

I'm not annoyed easily by this, and I don't see why people are. Trains stopping, people scratching nails on a blackboard, all that I don't notice unless people point it out by saying "Argh my ears" etc.

Loud noises only bother me when I'm trying to be quiet. Like when I'm hungry at like 3 am and everyone is sleeping then I bump into something and it knocks almost everything in the house over. Then I just stand there silently raging.
