what the shitting hell how did they choose these shitty companies DX is better at selling things than these two assholes [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] actually they should have gone with DealExtreme, shit would have WORKED.
This is when a trade account at Farnell comes in handy. Free express shipping ahoy.
Farnell just called me. They're processing my order now. Woo!
Well, I managed to order one from Farnell. But looking at the timestamps on the emails and comparing that to what Twitter is saying, apparently they were sold out when I managed to order it. But it's all a bit fuzzy, I'm not logged into Twitter so the timestamp isn't accurate at all and I was pretty much blacked out socially when I ordered it (was in the backseat of my teacher's car, ordered from my phone).
(was in the backseat of my teacher's car, ordered from my phone)
I'm sorry, what?
Farnell just called me. They're processing my order now. Woo!
Time you ordered?
I'm sorry, what?
I did a 12-week internship, 6 weeks before new year, 6 after that. We were just coming back from what I would call a review, just needed to get my grade from the whole thing. So no, I was not fucking my teacher.
Time you ordered?
2 hours ago they actually called me for credit card verification. They also told me that they are only going to ship out around April. Well, I can wait.
Garbage launch
I'm sorry, what?
The implications are unpleasant.
I have literally never witnessed such a fucking horrendous launch in my entire life.
YESSSSSSS! [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] Wth, doesn't ship to 1st world country's?
I don't understand anything of farnell's export page... When can we expect a 2nd batch to come out and be delivered? (Alternate sites for purchase?) I've registered my interest and looked around farnell's export but has anyone been able to place an order from sweden?
I wonder how many people ordered this and will give up instantly because they don't know how to use Linux, and can't be bothered to learn.

Is it possible to be that lazy?
I'm really tempted to get one, but I don't really know what I'd use it for. Any ideas? I already got multiple free Pentium 4 machines running Ubuntu to fulfill my media center and server needs. :(

I'd love to get one but a) i dont know if they ship to israel b) idk wtf is going on with this launch, honestly seems like the dumbest launch i've ever seen c) i havent quite decided what i want to use it for
So it's a "lanuch" that will happen in two months? Fuck that I'll wait the 2 months and get one with a case. I am really disappointed.

Fucking ebay
Snip
You can't get the PCB and solder yourself the components
It would actually be quite cool if they did a kit version. Soldering surface mount components isn't an issue, provided you have the technique, tools and the patience, even a home user with decent magnification could do a 0402 part.

Some kits do come with everything but the SMDs uninstalled, i'd go for one of those.
Is there any sequencer for ARM-architecture ? I want to make music on a Raspberry Pi so bad.
wow glad i did not stay up for that
So, am I understanding correctly that the first batch has yet to come and we can currently register for that on both sites?
