I'm waiting for it to be them announcing that they're going to sell cases aswell.
aaa all this tease/delay is driving me nuts
wednesday better be the day
11 AM, not bad. Still debating it, I'll see how much their power supply costs
Midnight Tuesday.
Fuck.
Well, here's hoping that it's worth it. Hopefully I can just add a raspberry pi and a powersupply to the shopping cart and be done with it.
Quick question: Will any microSD card work to boot the linux distribution, or do you have to get their own SD card?
You could get one of those converters (or ask around for some one that has a spare one), but I think buying a new one would be cheaper.
Aaah, okay. Something tells me shipping to Canada will not be cheap. The Pi, Power Supply lead, and SD Card... Hmm might work out to 50 bucks :P plus shipping D:
oh wait we're minus 5 aren't we. 1 AM damn it
My micro usb charger outputs 5V DC - 850 mA. I can use this right?
Yeah you're in the clear, the device only requires 700mA max
7 am not bad, lets hope it doesn't sell in seconds.
It isn't, and my dad does database work, so he's not your average clueless father. He installed This on it as well.
8:00 my timezone.
School starts at 9..
Wake up, shower, breakfast, spam F5, wait 20 minutes for site to actually work because of massive load, hopefully get a Pi, done.
I'm so getting one of these.
[editline]28th February 2012[/editline]
I was thinking of getting a small screen to fit on it but seeing as it is HDMI I have no clue what I would buy.

Just wondering if anyone will be trying this, I had a thought about it and might end up doing it if it's a success with others.
2 pm, and my school ends early tomorrow.
I just realized, the only HDMI-in display in the house is my dad's 1080p tv
well I guess I'll be running a CLI in 1920x1080 :v:

DVI monitors works too with a DVI to HDMI adapter.

either I'd have to order one for a reasonable price, or buy one for around $50 instore. I'd rather just cope with a small resolution on a very big TV
It's going to be 12am tonight for me. I'm going to try to stay up that late, but lately I've been going to bed early and getting up early in the morning. I have a friend who I've asked to grab one for me if I doze off though.
7 am here, I hate waking up early but I guess I'll try. I hope they put them up for sale and not just announce the date or something.
Its 6 am here. Aw yeah 8 hours left.
