[del]My page loaded, TL;DR- You can buy them through RS Components or Farnell, but both are just "register here to express interest" forms.[/del] (or just read above) I stayed up to REGISTER MY INTEREST?
I stayed up to REGISTER MY INTEREST?
It may have already sold out.
It may have already sold out.
they havent shipped from china yet so i think you're basically just preordering
Well that wasn't worth staying up for at all... The announcement is good news, though it's a bit lame compared to what I was expecting. You know, actually buying one.
I think I like this licensed manufacturer thing. Won't have to wait bazillion months to get more batches, they'll just keep on making them.
From their twitter If you're only seeing "register an interest" on RS's site, you're on the wrong page.
[del]Tweet from Raspberry Pi on Twitter: "If you're only seeing "register an interest" on RS's site, you're on the wrong page."[/del] Stop beating me to it damnit
Yeah FUCK YOU too.
From their twitter If you're only seeing "register an interest" on RS's site, you're on the wrong page.
I wish I knew how to find the "right" page.
what is this cryptic bullshit let me buy or reserve the thing already
That register interest link is NOT the right one, it appears. Ninjad.
so if this is the wrong page what exactly are we looking for
Yeah FUCK YOU too.
WHAT FOLLOWING ORDER LINES? WHAT FOLLOWING ORDER LINES?!?!?!
Farnell is dead...
Can anyone get a hold of the line number for the Pi on RS? We can make orders through the phone / down at our local RS's in the morning
Both sites are doubly fucked.
Oh, my tired as hell brain seemed to skim over the fact that the Model A now has 256 MB of RAM. That's really good news.
WHAT FOLLOWING ORDER LINES? WHAT FOLLOWING ORDER LINES?!?!?!
I don't know they never loaded.
What. I'm trying to register at RS Components but they only ship to businesses.
I don't know they never loaded.
:( Also, I keep getting errors loading the pages, which is BS. Wondering how you guys can "order" things now and I can't?
So, this whole Farnell and RS thing.. It means that somewhere in the world, is a plant building Raspberry Pi's right now.. In a mystical land, far away...
What. I'm trying to register at RS Components but they only ship to businesses.
just enter a rubbish line like Dick Sporting Goods
Martin Robertson ‏ @Mchr3k @Raspberry_Pi Searching on the RS site always returns the "register an interest" page. Can you link to the proper page? Raspberry Pi ‏ @Raspberry_Pi @Mchr3k No - it's bleedin' doing it for us too. We think their web elves are working on it. Unbelievable - we're not impressed either.
According to Twitter, RS is just doing something wrong right now.
According to @raspberry_pi the problem with RS components linking to the register an interest page is being fixed asap. Beat to it :(
Where is the real product on RS? All I see is express an interest. I see now
-snip-
We just have to keep waiting, the link to purchase just doesn't exist yet.
