-ant arrow video-
I'm probably being dumb but could anyone explain what this is?
Pretty sure the cast doesn't, Tim is known to be a massive douchelord to people who don't agree with his super batshit politics. [editline]8th May 2016[/editline]
I'm probably being dumb but could anyone explain what this is?
Rule of thirds, makes things very visually pleasing and allows people to track stuff easily and without getting a headache.
It's also a thing people on tumblr do; make it look like a gifset, then surprise people when parts of the image cross the 'borders'.
I will say something about Agents of SHIELD, I hate how they tried to hijack the origin of HYDRA purely to fit their storyline, it makes no sense
I will say something about Agents of SHIELD, I hate how they tried to hijack the origin of HYDRA purely to fit their storyline, it makes no sense
What'd they do? I don't watch Agents because I just don't watch TV.
What'd they do? I don't watch Agents because I just don't watch TV.
They introduced Hydra's history from the comics, where it was a cult that went back to Ancient Egypt, co-opted by Red Skull as part of his rise to power.
Saw Civil War war. Was objectively a high quality cinematic experience that makes even the rest of the MCU movies feel like Saturday morning cartoons. It's going to be hard to go back. And the confusion is still real: after the movie was over, the guys behind me were complaining about why couldn't they stick Deadpool in there somewhere?
What'd they do? I don't watch Agents because I just don't watch TV.
[sp] they find out that Hydra was just the most recent organization owing allegiance or homage to an ancient squid faced inhuman. Essentially Hydra has been regrowig heads a lot longer than previously thought.[/sp]
They introduced Hydra's history from the comics, where it was a cult that went back to Ancient Egypt, co-opted by Red Skull as part of his rise to power.
that just makes it silly
that just makes it silly
As opposed to those wacky Nazis and their flying machines?
As opposed to those wacky Nazis and their flying machines?
fascist ideology living on in secrecy vs squid face egyptian yeah i wonder which one's wackier

What exactly is ""Zemo""'s angle in the MCU at this point? Especially given he decided to kill the super soldiers and that we know that he'll have a future heavy role in the MCU[/sp] Also, who the FUCK though that turning aunt May into a bloody MILF was a good idea?
Probably someone realised that Aunts are very rarely Grandmother aged. I always found that weird in both comics and films. And someone who read Ultimate Spider-Man.

If RDJ wasn't Tony Stark, would anyone have liked Iron Man?
If RDJ wasn't Tony Stark, would anyone have liked Iron Man?
depends on who the actor that replaced him was
If RDJ wasn't Tony Stark, would anyone have liked Iron Man?
Literally impossible to tell. RDJ made Tony entirely his to the point where he does stuff that isn't in the script simply because he wants to. A different actor would portray him differently.
depends on who the actor that replaced him was
IIRC Tom Cruise was on the short list for casting :v: [editline]8th May 2016[/editline]
Probably someone realised that Aunts are very rarely Grandmother aged. I don't address my great-aunts as "great aunt X", I just say "aunt X"
IIRC Tom Cruise was on the short list for casting :v: [editline]8th May 2016[/editline] I always thought she was a great-aunt or something. When it's family reunion time, no one bothers with Great-x bullshit. Everyone is a Aunt or Uncle or Cousin.

Aunt May is his aunt by marriage and is approximately the same age as Uncle Ben because they knew each other from high school. That leaves the window of her possible age quite large, she could realistically be anywhere between her early 30's and late 90's.
According to the wikipedia character bio, Uncle Ben is Peter Parker's dad's older brother. Aunt May is his aunt by marriage.
Well, my grandpa is the youngest of like 12. And a girl in high school had a sister that was like 15 years younger then her, so it isn't that far-fetched.
The oddest thing about the young Aunt May is, out of all the renditions of her, it's Marvel that makes it different from the comic instead of Sony or some other iteration of her.
Holy shit I just watched that and it honestly deserves all the praise it got. I really liked Tom Holland, I thought he did his job remarkably well and breathed new life into Spider-Man.
Just watched it as well. [sp]"This is your conscious, we haven't spoken in a LONG time![/sp]
Recently watched Civil War. it didn't feel like a 2 and a half hour movie, it went by pretty quickly imo. Loved it alot.
One thing a friend pointed out to me is that, at the beginning of the movie, Tony Stark is presenting a technology which purpose is to isolate painful memories and, if there is need, remove them If you have been following the MCU up to this point, you'd expect the glasses to be some kind of McGuffin, but [sp]the movie ends and no one even suggests that the technology could be used to cure Bucky's conditioning[/sp]
Considering [sp]how much Tony wants him dead, I'm not surprised[/sp].
Black Panther was a better addition to the film than Spider-Man IMO. I liked Hollands Spider-Man, I think I just liked Black Panther more and having him appear on the big screen meant a lot more than another Spidey on screen, especially since he was an actual part of the plot unlike Spidey.

I guess it's to illustrate that the Avengers are much stronger together than they are apart - If Tony and Steve/Bucky were friends, the whole thing would be solved straight away.
