his contract ends with avengers 3. from what i've read, he isn't planning on continuing the role but wouldn't be opposed to it.
I think he even said he might quit acting and take up directing for a little while. Who knows how that's gonna turn out

yes, he did say that. interesting to hear his thoughts on the russos directing infinity war, if he really wants to get into directing he should pay attention to them.
his contract ends with avengers 3. from what i've read, he isn't planning on continuing the role but wouldn't be opposed to it.
I thought I read that he had since changed his mind and was open to working more with Marvel. Maybe it was sometime around Ultron, or a little while before Civil War?
I think he even said he might quit acting and take up directing for a little while. Who knows how that's gonna turn out
I believe a more recent interview he said "Whatever Marvel needs to do, I'm willing"
Civil War will continue through the rest of Phase 3.
I really want to see an effect on the entire MCU (movies, tv, everything) in a similar way to how Winter Soldier affected Agents of Shield and every Marvel property since.
does this mean i dont get my captain bucky
No, but maybe we'll get Nomad? I mean, Cap did [sp]drop his shield at the end[/sp]
Also, I'm not certain if this is a minor plot hole or not but - [sp]Spiderman is on Team Ironman, which is pro-accords. Doesn't this mean Spiderman's identity has been revealed to the UN?[/sp]
[sp]the spider-man movie will probably continue the events of civil war. captain america was only planned as a trilogy, there's no fourth movie on the rise since evans is dishing out after avengers 3. same with pretty much the big four, they were only signed on for so many movies.[/sp]
I'm pretty certain the first Cap America movie ends with it saying he will return "in Avengers".
It's just another move for Marvel to wash all over Captain America's movie with [sp]Spiderman[/sp]
I'd say that perfectly describes his situation. Maybe [sp]if he's still in Wakanda when Black Panther rolls around, T'Challa will give him a new uniform and send him on his way.[/sp]
Turns out that it's quite possible that Steven Rogers may retire at some point with Captain America living on
I'm excited, I never knew this
i have trouble even keeping up with all the marvel stuff. i gave up on it i dont have time to see all those movies. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!
why even post?

It should be Bucky, by all accounts.
Any one know if we will get with the new reboot of Fantasic 4 the Silver Surfer ??
I loved this one :D
And for some one who did'nt know yet , in the Black Panther movie [SP]Michael B. Jordan (The Torch) will be on that one :D[/SP] this will be weird :(

What?
What?
I mean if the Silver Surfer character will be in the next movie of the Fantastic Four if we get an other movie

This was from 2 years ago so idk. Things change. I believe that was back Chris Evans was thinking about directing and moving on from the MCU.
It should be Bucky, by all accounts.
You say that but he's always been more about doing all the covert stuff, making all the hard calls and generally getting his hands dirty. Yeah he's been Cap in the past, but I'm sure I remember him being a bit uncomfortable about it after he was the Winter Soldier for so long. There's definitely a lot of guilt there, especially with MCU Bucky. I really don't think he'd be okay with assuming the mantle unless there was a lot of bad stuff going on and he'd developed a bit more.
His role as the 'Man on the Wall' is something that I could see MCU Bucky doing more than a legit run as Captain America. It would tie in with Guardians and Infinity War and generally work as a bit of a bridge between those two narrative areas.
I mean if the Silver Surfer character will be in the next movie of the Fantastic Four if we get an other movie
yeah good luck waiting for that sequel lol

Galactus and the Silver Surfer are some of the coolest things tied to the Fantastic Four, and I think there'd definitely be an audience for a movie with them in it, especially if Galactus wasn't a smoke monster in it.
It's anybody's guess what's happening with Fantastic Four after Fant4stic however
As we're discussing Phase 3 and how Civil War will continue: In The Empire podcast it's not denied that [sp]Bucky will be in Black Panther[/sp]. It's very much an avoided question, they instead hype up the african and african-american cast.
Honestly I recommend you listen to the Empire Spoiler Captain America podcast. They cover as much as they can with both Russos and Feige. Even a little on Thor (which I think they said only 5% will be set on Earth).

fucking finally
but [sp]i think bucky might be there just for a cameo since he's being held at a t'chaka facility, don't really think he will have a big role, hopefully i'm wrong[/sp]

You say his character wouldn't like it and I say - that's great material for a story. What kind of story would it be if Bucky just accepted it and did everything identical to Steve Rogers? In the comics, while in the suit, he's constantly comparing himself to Rogers. "What would he have done? I don't want to do it this way". It was pretty great. Especially at the times when he ran off to do something dressed as the Winter Soldier because "this is what the Winter Soldier would have done, not Captain America" (though both identities were secret at the time so that probably wouldn't work in the MCU).
A Bucky Captain America would be a story of him trying to live up to Roger's legacy and I think that would make a great story.

I'm really hoping for a [sp]sweet new Vibranium arm[/sp] but that would only happen if [sp]they somehow get rid of his brainwashing, which is difficult since there aren't any telepaths in the MCU yet[/sp]
I'm sure some kind of technology will be made to do the work. With 9 movie contracts, there's no way this is the last we'll see of the Winter Soldier.

I also think it would be good material for a story, but I don't think the character will be ready to even attempt to do that for a while. I really think after Civil War that [sp]Bucky needs to have some kind of brain-fixing event, and something just to give him the perspective to move on from the Winter Soldier.[/sp]I think that's what we're going to get, and I'm sure if he has a 9 movie deal, we'll see him with the shield at some point.
Personally I don't think he should be Cap though. Trying it and taking on the mantle is good, but I'd prefer it if he did it for a short while, but then ultimately realised that it wasn't for him. Basically it's my preference and understanding of the character that he's better suited to a role that is more morally grey.

That's essentially his entire story in the comics when he becomes Captain America, struggling to not be morally grey. One of the best parts in the comics, in my opinion, is when some villain's henchmen manage to separate him from the shield and essentially believed he had been disarmed - then Cap Bucky just straight pulls out a gun and shoots them, "Yeah, there's some things I just can't give up" or something like that was said. I think the scene was meant to be a humorous reminiscing of Indiana Jones but I thought it made it pretty clear that Bucky can't handle being Captain America forever.

That sounds pretty great, and definitely something I'd like to see in the movies. I don't know much about Falcon's run as Cap, I'm guessing it's less interesting but more fitting. I never really understood why he'd need the shield when he as the wings though, seems like overkill.
With how things are left in Civil War, I'm certain that [sp]Black Panther will fix Bucky's head with some mystical artefact he keeps around (especially since he's possibly the most chill dude ever, the guy just oozes wisdom), and then he'll be the new Cap for a while after Steve dies/retires or whatever in Infinity War[/sp]

Her power isn't really straight telepathy/telekinesis though, in fact, it's pretty ill-defined.
After some research, she's apparently able to 'manipulate energy' as well as some mental manipulation as well, but I think it's kept at a very basic emotional level. I can't see them making her a legit telepath because that's too much of a departure from her character. The mental manipulation kinda worked because it was still 'chaos' related, but her making someone feel calm or [sp]doing intricate 'mind surgery'/reverse brainwashing[/sp] is like the opposite of chaos.
To be honest, I really dislike what they've done to her and would prefer it if over time she became much more hexy and classic Scarlet Witch.

[sp]The accords aren't about identity, it's about regulation of activity. Also, I don't think tony really filled peter in on the situation, other than telling him whoever was aligned with cap was the enemy. Also also, that video states the rest of civil war's outcome will continue through phase 3, up to avengers 3.[/sp]
[sp]Also also also, I think if anyone can help Bucky, it would be Dr. Strange. I'm not familiar withthe character, but magic.[/sp]

They also say in the Empire podcast that the story of Cap/Winter Soldier continues in [sp]Avengers[/sp] in the same way Civil War continued Winter Soldier.
