Nah. If they survived Seduction of the Innocent, they can survive this, and they can survive it without scraping the barrel and licking the spoon on youtube.
The movies are making the money they are by retaining the core of the storytelling beats and marks and keeping them whole. There's a pretty obvious avenue there to get you through lean times.
so we abandon the main shit and stick to smaller series and the mcu?
Doesn't look like it's been posted yet but:
Donald Glover has joined Spider-man: Homecoming
http://variety.com/2016/film/news/spider-man-homecoming-donald-glover-1201795278/
The obvious choice would be for him to play Miles, considering he already voices him in the cartoon and there was the whole #DONALD4SPIDERMAN thing.
However, I also think it'd be really weird seeing Miles Morales as being like twice as old as Peter Parker.
You know what I want? I want him to end up as a little villain named Overdrive, a dude with the ability to turn any kind of vehicle into any other kind of vehicle through nanotech.
Then you just get Glen Howerton as Boomerang, Mindy Kaling as Beetle, Woody Harrelson as Speed Demon, and Louis CK as Shocker, and...

Oh god damn, we didnt get Howerton as Kilgrave or Starlord but thats definately next on the list now

Worked for DC twice, and it worked for Marvel in the early 80s.

I'm guessing he'd be playing Norman Osborn?
The villain is the Jackal so nah, its just Clone Saga 2.
They just confirmed it will be.

they must have known he wouldn't see that coming.
seems more like a punishment to receive one of those awful vinyl figures
Does this mean he's going to go to a Children's Hospital dressed as Daredevil?
Because that would terrify the shit out of me after all the crap that's gone down in hospitals in that show.

Tbh they're more for just collecting and standing on your shelf, i got a few from box subs and gifts. They're not bad but not my ideal collectible. But they serve a wide spectrum of fans, so i can understand why they're popular.

I'm a huge fan of collectibles, I mainly collect figurines from game collectors edition such as the Witcher 3 statue and the one from Dark Souls 3. But these Pop Funk... I don't know, they just don't look good. Not even for putting them on a shelf.
I have a big lebowski pop funko, and it's pretty good for the smorgasbord of shit on my dresser. I'd rather have an actual dude figure, but it ties my shelf together pretty well.
Spider-Man filming has started. 100% in on Zendaya being Liz Allen or Betty Brant now

Yeah, calling it, she's Betty Brant.
Yeah, calling it, she's Betty Brant.
Isn't she a little young to be Betty Brant? Obviously they can just have her be younger but still.

I think she's around Peters age or so. She was a love interest early on.
What if she's Glory Grant?
She went to highschool with Peter and ended up being Jameson's secretary after Betty left.
I finished watching Agents of SHIELD S3 and I'm glad they [sp]got rid of the two boring guys in the show. I could barely give a crap about all of the romantic subplots.[/sp]
[sp]I won't miss Lincoln, and SquidWard was boring, with his lack of emotion. It was nice to see his face change expression again, but I'm glad he's gone. He really should have been done when Coulson killed him on P4X-639.[/sp]
