It's one thing to make a female "male" character, like spider-girl, and another to totally replace the original guy, like Thor, but it's really a whole new level of why to cut an original female character down to make hero's rule 63

Look at Batman for instance, Robin became Nightwing instead of Batman 2. Even Jean Paul became "Azbat" when he replaced Batman. Sure an arc exists where Nightwing goes Batman to carry on his master's legacy alongside his son, but I doubt all new wolverine has that sort of build up and time put into it

Eh, its been awhile since if seen X-23 stuff but i think part of her arc over the past decade was to get away from that kind of temperament because it was having a negative impact on her life. Pretty sure Wolverines involvement in that was trying to make sure she didnt inherit his attitude or history.

I dunno why but shifting identities always annoyed me. I hated when Eddie Brock was replaced by scorpion. Flash Thompson was different enough as venom while still being like Eddie as Flash though which was neat

Scorpion always seemed like such a lame guy to me.
He's just a lamer Doc Ock with armor and super strength.
The way he's presented in the n64/ps1 game is the scorpion I like I like the idea of him but they goof up sometimes
