Those leaked Sony emails are pretty insane.
Like, not to derail the thread, this is the Marvel General and not the Ghostbusters General, but she literally ousted Ivan Reitman because he wasn't going to make the movie she wanted.
Reitman wanted Ghostbusters 3, but Pascal wanted "an all-female superhero movie", so she got rid of him because he wouldn't play ball and brought on Feig.
Say what you want about the MCU, but at least the execs with Marvel and Disney are concerned with furthering/expanding the brand/story rather than "I WANT THIS KINDA MOVIE, MAKE IT HERE NOW."
I can't wait for Thor 3, which is a phrase that I never thought I'd say.
Thor 3 is one of those movies where everything about the movie look interesting, except the protagonist
