Oh fuck yes Black Panther [editline]12th August 2015[/editline] [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/79/GodzillaComics_23.jpg[/t] Also still waiting
sorry but the hulk alone would beat godzilla :^)
Suit's not bad but could be better
Could be a test shot? Do we have any other photos of the suit, haven't been following hard enough
Could be a test shot? Do we have any other photos of the suit, haven't been following hard enough
Since they're in the middle of shooting, there's no way it's a test shot, that stuff would've been done months before production
Don't believe them. WB said the same thing after Green Lantern and Sony said the same thing right after ASM2. Hell, Sony was sure they were going to make a whole damn Spiderman Cinematic Universe, even after ASM2. The point is, movie studios try to save face after such a movie bombs. But that shit will never get made.
The fact Sony film was hemorrhaging money meant they had very little choice when it came to making a deal with Marvel. Even if they don't keep making money off X-Men, and Planet of the Apes and Avatar they'll forever be in money by re-releasing Star Wars. Screen Titanic again. They'll stick Fantastic 4 sequels and spinoffs straight to DVD if it keeps the rights. Though I wonder how long they'd get away with it before Marvel could argue a case about Fox damaging their property and take it back.
Since they're in the middle of shooting, there's no way it's a test shot, that stuff would've been done months before production
Even then, might just be the lighting and the shot. Some suits look awful crappy when they're just in random shoots but look good on screen

Fox on the other hand, clearly doesn't give a fuck about fans or what they think and they are really spiteful.
If Fantastic Four gets a sequel, failure is no longer a concept.

hopefully, it'll set a new standard.
There's no way Spidey won't side with Captain America.
There's no way Spidey won't side with Captain America.
didn't spidey side with Ironman in the comic? [sp]and then he switched side later on[/sp]
I don't know how I feel about this.
It's practically impossible for a character to emote through a full face mask. I'd rather have subtle CG eye movements than a bunch of characters who can only express emotion through exaggerated head movement and hand gestures like a fucking power ranger.

Once you remove the ability to emote with the face you can compensate very effectively with proper body language. If you get people who are good with body language to be the suit actor you can display tons of emotion with more subtle body language. Only a crap actor would resort to gesturing wildly.
Punisher: War Zone was on IFC late last night, and it reminded me of how much of a piece of shit that film was. The Dolph Lundgren Punisher is considerably better than that crap. The unnecessary CGI gore, the awful acting, the writing, just so many things they go wrong with that film. Can't wait to see Bernthal's performance as Punisher and his role in Daredevil. For once we may see a more accurate portrayal of the character.

I don't think CG eye movements through the mask is going to go well in the movies, it'll make them be...less serious, as much as that probably doesn't count for. The MCU has, thus far, been working on being realistic. This would strongly take away from that, and despite being from "comics", I feel it would make serious movies be more comical, in a very negative way.

we don't really know the extent of facial animation they'll use. could be very subtle
I just don't want it to be a future standard.
It's worth pointing out that the concept art of Black Panther from last year showed him with glowing eyes, so the tracking dots may be to add them in post so there's nothing obstructing the stuntman's eyes whilst filming.
Looks like the rumors about Marvel leaving Universal might be coming true:
Universal Orlando announced today that The Incredible Hulk Coaster will be soon closing for major enhancements. Beginning September 8, the popular Islands of Adventure ride will shut down until summer 2016, reopening win a new storyline, ride vehicles and overall experience.
The rebranding begins!

A more detailed description
11:21 a.m. Here’s what we see: The new Avengers are in buildings overlooking a crowded market in what appears to be a third-world country. “Eyes on target, folks,” Captain America says. Falcon says, “Red Wing, launch,” and a small drone hovers free and dives down to the street, swooping beneath a truck, which is loaded with explosives. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson is in a café.) “It’s a battering ram,” she says. The team closes in, and the truck opens up—revealing Crossbones, a.k.a. Brock Rumlow (played by Frank Grillo, from The Winter Soldier). He spots Cap moving in and throws a magnetic bomb onto Cap’s vibranium shield. Cap thinks fast, throwing the shield into the sky just as it detonates. He is now unarmed, and Crossbones pummels him. The rest of Crossbones’ crew springs to action. Falcon blocks machine gun fire with his wings. Black Widow flips through the air, sending bad guys flying. Crossbones grips Cap and slams him into a concrete wall. He leers at the hero from behind a metallic, skull-shaped masked. “You dropped a building on my face,” he snarls, a reference to the conclusion of The Winter Soldier. Cap rips his gauntlet off and pushes free, then tears off the metal mask. Crossbones kneels, defeated, and mutters: “You know … he remembered you. Your pal … your buddy … Your Bucky.” Turns out, Captain America does have a weak spot. From there we get the Marvel Studios logo and cut to William Hurt as Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross—the former general, known as the nemesis of The Incredible Hulk. “The world owes you an unpayable debt,” Ross says as images of past heroism play onscreen. “While a great many people see you as a hero, there are some who prefer the word vigilante. People are afraid.” Cap is indignant. “This job, we try to save as many as we can. Sometimes that doesn’t mean everybody,” he says. Then we see a shot familiar to anyone who waited for the end credits scene after Ant-Man. The Winter Soldier himself, Cap’s old friend Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan), is trapped in a warehouse with his metallic arm locked in a vice. “Buck … You know me?” The assassin whose mind was wiped in the previous Captain America movie looks up. “My mom’s name was Sarah,” he says. “You used to wear newspapers in your shoes.” Then we get a reunion between Cap and another powerful being: Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. “Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth,” he says. Something has happened. Something that can’t be undone. The world wants heroes to stay heroes, but they need to be regulated. Controlled. We see a flash of heroes. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Paul Bettany as The Vision (wearing street clothes! A dapper suit), Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye striking a pose with his bow and arrow, Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa—in regular clothes, and also in his Black Panther armor, complete with gloves that extend razor-sharp blades from the fingernails. As we see various teams of powerful beings running at each other, the footage cuts to another van—this one with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man inside. He meets Cap and totally geeks out. “Captain America…” he says, awestruck, shaking his idol’s hand. And shaking it some more. And then some more. “I’m shaking your hand too long,” he says. Pinwheeling around, he looks at Scarlet Witch. “I know you, too!” Ant-Man says. “You’re great!” He tries to play it cool. “I want to say I know you know a lot of super people, so thinks for thanking of me,” he says. Then pauses. Blinks. “Thanks for thinking of me,” he corrects himself.
http://www.ew.com/article/2015/08/15/marvel-d23-expo-civil-war Kinda disappointed with the lack of Spidey reveals but I guess that'll be a good surprise to keep and no Jessica Jones trailer. Hopefully this leaks out soon but knowing Disney I doubt it will.
sdasdasdasdasdasd I'm more hyped for this than I was for AoU
That little bit about Doctor Strange concept art sounds very intriguing. I wonder how much of what we saw from [sp]Ant-Man when he travels into the Quantum Realm[/sp] relates to Doctor Strange.
Anyone saw this leaked footage?
Footage from D23 about the Iron Man ride in Hong Kong Disneyland, including footage from the ride: Stan Lee has a cameo on the ride. For those who just want the ride footage:
