Carnage would be cool but wasn't it rumoured Shocker was in this film too?
The Elephant from Payday 2 is cast as Shocker
-snip it was over-
Any clue what the (M) characters are? [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] Jason, Tiny, Abraham [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] Betty Brandt is also labelled M [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] Searching Betty Brant and Jason the name Jason Macendale came up, which is apparently another Hobgoblin

Well since Betty is labeled (M) it might not be a last name, but the guy playing "Jason (M)" looks a lot more fit to be hob than the guy playing Ned. Unless the formula gives him abs like Captain America Also apparently MJ news came from Umberto Gonzalez so you can bet it's BS, dude shits out bogus rumors like this constantly. [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] looks like auditions for Robbie Reyes and Punisher's show is opened http://www.comicbookmovie.com/punisher/new-auditions-for-ghost-rider-and-the-punisher-arise-a144699 [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] Watching a few tapes of Punisher auditions [sp]looks like there's gonna be some Iraq flashbacks/stories[/sp]
looks like auditions for Robbie Reyes and Punisher's show is opened
[del]Oh i hope it isnt Robbie Reyes. Unless they're embargoing Johnny/Danny/Zero for a movie. [/del] Oh thats for AoS, good.
Watching a few tapes of Punisher auditions [sp]looks like there's gonna be some Iraq flashbacks/stories[/sp]
Oh. OH. Oh FUCK. [sp]We're Ennis Punisher Max now boy.[/sp]
So I'm probably late, but I looked up Homecoming on wikipedia, apparenrly the filming codename was "Summer of George!", which is a pretty funny Seinfeld reference (because Marisa Tomei, get it?)
Oh i hope it isnt Robbie Reyes. Unless they're embargoing Johnny/Danny/Zero for a movie.
no i mean for agents of shield
I really hate these arguments that always spring up when a traditionally white character is (possibly) confirmed to be portrayed by a non-white actor, because they really just seem racist, and it's uncomfortable. You're arguing that Mary Jane should look like she does in the comics, which is fair enough. The trouble however, is that the comics and the original character designs are from the 1960s. VenomousBeetle has consistently reminded us that Mary Jane was originally designed to look like Ann Margret, a famous actress from the 1960s. This makes a lot of sense considering that Mary Jane is a model: [thumb]http://www.doctormacro.com/Images/Ann-Margret/Annex/Annex%20-%20Ann-Margret_33.jpg[/thumb] The problem arises however, when you realise that Spider-Man: Homecoming has a vague 'modern day' setting, as in, it could believably be occurring today. Modern day models do not look like Ann Margret. A model from Queens is not going to dress like Ann Margret, style her hair like Ann Margret, or wear similarly fashioned clothes. I mean, the clothes thing is a bit iffy since fashion is kind of cyclical and it's the 'hipster' thing to wear vintage clothing, but that's not the point. What I'm saying is that to tell a believable story, they're going to have to update these characters a little. I can understand the outrage when it's a major character to a degree, especially when their race is a part of their character, but for a support character, which is what she is, despite how much you can feign outrage that we dare to say less about Mary Jane Watson when her relevance has always been her relationship to Peter Parker/Spider-Man, it's a bit silly, and maybe even racist, to cry 'heresy' when the actor isn't white.
I think if she is mj, as long as she has red hair, everyone will be fine with it.
Red hair won't fix her generic acting abilities and we've already had a meh mj.
side character
MJ hasn't been a side character since Civil War.
Luckily she's Michele Gonzalez
looks like auditions for Robbie Reyes and Punisher's show is opened http://www.comicbookmovie.com/punisher/new-auditions-for-ghost-rider-and-the-punisher-arise-a144699
Oh, shit, James Frain possibly in Punisher. :excited: [sp]Pardon the hype but I've been a fan of his since The Cape.[/sp]
Zendaya isn't that good of an actor anyways
I don't even know who she is.
Some singer or something with 3 cancelled Disney channel shows [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] She probably needs the Michele role as a save tbh [editline]20th August 2016[/editline] I'd imagine Sony asked for an ethnic character/love interest, marvel suggested Michele, then Disney recommended Zendaya to play her to help her career If she pulls it off, Michele as a character gets more exposure and Zendaya can boast Spider-man and will probably be a sizable increase to her marketability so bar a screw up its a pretty good thing for all parties
So Midnight's Edge just put out their video about Sony's now cancelled SMCU: It does cover some MCU stuff in it as well.
I prefer Setting Provided by the Amazing Spider-Man (SPASM) to smcu
How did none of us notice Hannibal Buress as the coach
How did one of us notice Hannibal Buress as the coach
It's going to be really jarring to see Hannibal without his Eric Andre Show acting.
wait they cast an actual 15 year old to play peters love interest?? what
I dont think Betty is going to be his love interest in this movie.
they shouldn't bother with a love interest, since he's still just a kid in high school.
they shouldn't bother with a love interest, since he's still just a kid in high school.
Kids are (stupidly) scrambling to get in to a relationship at that point in their lives, it kinda makes sense.
I'm having trouble thinking of any times Spider-man hasn't had a love interest or at the very least a possible/future love interest
high school crushes are quite common imo. I haven't read anything about liz allen and only seen her from a few episodes of one of the disney XD show. But they seem to be building a good group of friends for parker
Liz was the popular girl that was with Flash right? [editline]21st August 2016[/editline] wow what a ride Pete liked her, but she was Flash's gf and when graduated married and had Harry Osborn's kid [editline]21st August 2016[/editline] "Normie Osborn" lol [editline]21st August 2016[/editline] "She met Harry at Betty Brant's wedding to Ned Leeds" [editline]21st August 2016[/editline] Her stepbrother is Molten Man also [editline]21st August 2016[/editline]
Later, Liz Allan dated lawyer Foggy Nelson, the legal partner of Matt Murdock,[8] but the couple broke up after Mysterio manipulated Foggy into having an affair in a plot to drive Daredevil insane. Like so many of the men in her life, Liz felt like Foggy had let her down and ended their relationship.[9]
[editline]21st August 2016[/editline]
Betty dropped out of high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to become a secretary of the Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson. There she met Peter Parker when he became a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle[2]. After they had been attacked by the Vulture[3], Peter had already noticed his attraction to Betty, and was impressed when she stood up to J. Jonah Jameson over publishing slandering articles against Spider-Man. They began dating shortly afterwards, when Betty was impressed by Parker's kindness when taking care of his ill Aunt May[4].
[editline]21st August 2016[/editline] with what we know about the casting it sounds like they may be trying to stick close to Amazing Spider-man (1963), fucking awesome
"There is a scene that is a cut scene. It's a small piece of the fight at Leipzig where there's a very fun interaction between Cap and Bucky, and it kind of hints at a favorite storyline in the books," Anthony Russo said. "I won't go into the detail about it, but there's a little tease in that scene that is pretty fun." "It's a comic book story, and I can't say whether or not it's going to factor in to the movies," Anthony Russo said when asked for specifics about the scene.
http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/08/20/captain-america-civil-war-cut-scene-hinted-at-beloved-comic-book-story Willing to bet it's Bucky fighting with Cap's shield. Alluding to when he becomes Captain America.
But he did that in TWS already, didn't he?

I noticed 13 is missing too. Thats likely where Montana as Shocker #1 would be.
after re reading ultimate spiderman (2000) I really gotta appreciate how good of a character peter parker is, he has a motivation that's nothing too over the top but still has enough reasoning behind it. and overall the entire spiderman comics have usually been pretty good in being a very grounded and just have relatable characters. that's why I think spiderman is my favorite marvel hero in general [sp] and I have a hard on for scarlet spider's design [/sp]
