Actually, that's a good thing. The VFX in AoS are decent enough that I think they can pull it off. Hopefully it doesn't become *too* edgy.

That's basically what I meant.
Like, everyone else looks super official, wearing matching blue uniforms, but then you've got Star Lord still looking like a casual space pirate.
Worked for the first movie (honestly love that longcoat design), but it'd be cool to see him with the classic helmet, like his gear has seen some upgrades since we last saw them.

Man, I'd really love it if they did the classic/2008 GotG costumes in one of these movies. I know you're talking about the helmet, but I want the whole get-up with the buttony jacket and weird WW1 boots.
There's nothing wrong with his 'space pirate' outfit, but I would really appreciate it if he suited up with the full helmet and classic uniform for Thanos or something.
Rocket could match, Drax could wear the pants at least, Gamora is a weird one since they obviously won't do her outfit from then but they could make it work. Maybe even have Groot wear some clothes too.

yes
its a fun avenue into marvel stuff, it builds up good background lore in the universe like the netflix shows do.
kinda wish it had more budget tho, its limited by that.
finale had pretty great CG for hive though
They clearly showed Hive in his true form as little as possible because of budget. But it was pretty cool when it appeared.
The blue guy was well done make-up too.
IIRC the Kree in season 1 took up majority of the special effects budget for the entire season.
SHIELD needs a better budget then
It's a TV show. It does pretty well with what it has. The sets are great, actors great and the location filming is gorgeous.
It would probably have a better budget being on netflix or hulu.
It will never have a bigger budget so long as Ike Perlmutter is in charge of Marvel.
