Eh, look on the bright side, the MCU might be getting the FF and related properties because of this.

i honestly hope they just use that script
the planet doom thing is weird but i could see it working.
So no matter what Doom would have been some weird super being.
It's sad how much they didn't care about setting up the universe for the F4.
It sounds better but Doom is still a generic superpowered bad guy.
They gotta stop tying his origin to the FF's. Just have Reed mention this one guy back in college who despised him and then, next movie, blamo, Doom.
Yeah, Fox doesn't seem to understand the FF have a lot more villains than just Doom and Galactus, who are both your big bads/end-game or like in the above script they end up using too much.
You've got the Skrulls(easy way to do a fun action/thriller with mistrust and Super Skrull as your big bad for the final battle), Mole Man(don't need too much depth, allowing for a focus on the family also allows to start from a more local level before moving up to cosmic villains or Doom) or Annihilus(which would have worked well with the alternate dimension angle of the film) for example.
Imagine a 60s based F4, where-in the team have to track down the Skrulls before they infiltrate humanity fully. This way you could still have a big event happen in the past and not have it be unusual that no one seems to bring it up, the F4 have to stop it before it becomes public knowledge. You can throw in Roswell stuff, focus on the family with them questioning if they're really with their family or if they've been infiltrated, lots of cool 60's tech like the Fantasticar and delving deep into Kirbys retro designs.
i always thought the fantasticar was kinda irrelevant since almost all of them can basically fly anyway
but then again wonder woman had an invisible jet
i always thought the fantasticar was kinda irrelevant since almost all of them can basically fly anyway

Well Thing and Mr Fantastic can't fly(although Mr Fantastic stretching has done that level of bullshittery before), but I think Sue can create a platform to float on.
Also the invisible jet was around because she couldn't fly originally, I think that was an ability she got post-Crisis.
Here's an updated look into F4's greatest villains

Thor is off doing his own thing for Ragnarok and Hulk's fucked off far away from everyone else.
The crack pot marketing team realized that the Hulk merchandise isn't as selling as quick compared to Scarlet Witch and Black Widow.
I guess a big green mass of muscle isn't what the kids are into these days.
Depends, is that dumb TV series he got to himself still running?
Why didn't tony give banner his own iron man suit? That way, he could still help out the team, even in situations where he didn't need to hulk out. And it's not like tony didn't have any spares laying around.

I don't think he's really much of a fighter

The tension of combat would have just turned him into Hulk.
So if General Ross is back, maybe the Abomination will be back too?
Can Tony Stark stop being so selfish and just give everyone their own type of Iron Man suit?
Literally every problem they have could be avoided.
-NEVERMIND-
Set photos of costume fitting, actually, I WAS WRONG. [sp]Still looks like we might be getting the billy club transforming cane though.[/sp]

[sp]Eugh, why isn't it just solid red like the one at the end of S1? I mean, the cane's cool, but jesus that pattern isn't even a pattern.[/sp]
[editline]20th August 2015[/editline]
Oh wait, so that's NOT the S2 suit?

I uh...
Hm, you sure about that bud?
I think one of the production guys said on twitter that the second image is from the Season 1 suit.
I know this isn't on the cinematic side but:
In the new comics they apparently [sp] kicked the Fantastic Four out of the Baxter building and gave it to Spiderman as he is running his own company [/sp]:v:

Oh it seems as if the [sp] human torch joined the inhumans and the thing is part of GoTG in the comics. [/sp]

I meant like, in the face.
The mask of the S1 suit was just red, but this one just has segments of it in black with no real rhyme or reason.
he's been running his own company for quite a while and considering the fuckups they've been involved in I'm surprised it's still a thing

He's right, though. They did change it a bit.

I want the D's in his chest.
I want the D's in his chest.
I'd actually prefer they left that out, it wouldn't really fit. Captain America having a bright, colourful costume with the stars and stripes makes sense because he's an iconic ex-propaganda symbol, Iron Man having a brightly coloured suit makes sense because of Tony's flair, but considering Matt used to just wear all black before he started to connect with the "Devil of Hell's Kitchen" identity, it wouldn't really make sense. He's still only called Daredevil in one newspaper article.
I still wish we had seen the person who designed the black costumes final costume or if they were gonna go tacticool with the costume make it look like Samnee's sketch he made after the original announcement.

Another problem with the show costume is that Cox is a more stocky guy as opposed to a triangle guy like Evan so the costume needs to take that into account otherwise the ab/waist area look kinda off .
