Apparently there's still a major easter egg no one has found in GotG yet.

James Gunn is going full Rocksteady on us.
I like it.
So, um, when Cyclops is wearing his glasses, is he shooting like an infinite amount of beams 100% of the time behind them?
I was always confused about that too. In the comics, he would often shoot at full intensity and then have to "recharge." It was also funny that he would use his most powerful blast and be ineffectual against most villains.
It might have already been retconned, but I feel like better explanation would be that he always shoots out maximum power, the visor just controls output.

So is Daredevil 2 next year?
I think it will have to be to land before The Defenders which is the plan.
Aren't both Luke Cage and Daredevil filming right now? Have they announced which will be first yet? I'd assume it's Luke Cage.

The order so far is Jessica Jones - Luke Cage - Daredevil Season 2.
I think, because Jessica Jones was filming when Daredevil was being released. Now Luke Cage is being filmed when Jessica Jones is being released. But Daredevil season 2 is also being filmed.
What I wonder is... where's Iron Fist?

[sp]Iron Man fighting both Captain America and the Winter Soldier[/sp]
[sp]Iron Man throwing Cap, but not seeing Bucky and then getting subsequently punched in the face[/sp]
[sp]This is probably a misdirection, but Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is apparently the rumored double agent and it sounds like she doublecrosses Cap. She is shown reporting to the government, including General Ross and Tony Stark, before her showdown with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye.[/sp]
[sp]More of the Black Widow/Hawkeye fight; Natasha looks to be in bad shape after Clint delivers a big blow[/sp]
[sp]Vision fighting both Falcon & Scarlet Witch[/sp]
[sp]More of the scene where Ant-Man thanks Cap for letting him be a part of the team. This time, Scott apparently pulls a Peggy and touches Steve's pecs to feel how big/firm they are at some point during the conversation[/sp]
[sp]Daniel Brühl's Baron Zemo makes an appearance[/sp]
[sp]Steve and Bucky hugging it out[/sp]

So well has Ant-man ultimately performed? I know it had the lowest opening since Hulk but I'm hoping that it picked up a bit since then.

Not that great, sadly. I've talked with friends about Ant-Man and they're just not going to it because of the name. I told them it's silly to judge a book by its cover but the name really does matter, apparently.

That's seriously disappointing, I saw Ant man recently and it's become one of my favourite Marvel movies. Kind of reminds me of the first Thor movie, you go in expecting some decent effects and some action and you get a bunch of comedy as well that you never really saw coming. While Thor in the movies has become super serious and less 'lol this demigod with really bad manners is trying to fit in to modern times' (probably because he's been on Earth so long he's gotten used to things) Scott Lang as a character seems genuinely awkward and will probably carry on the comedy from what we've heard about A:CW. The villain wasn't that great but you can't really introduce someone meaningful if you're going to kill them off in the same movie. But yeah, the comedy overrode that for me
Ant man kicked serious ass and is now pretty much my favorite character in the mcu
I had to drag my friends to Ant-Man cause they all just thought it sounded dumb. They came out the other side regretting their premature judgment.
I'm so glad that Ant-Man exists and proves that his power is the best power.
Ant-Man delivers the most fresh take on battlescenes.
AOU left a sour taste in my mouth, to be honest. Watching Ant-Man made me feel more optimistic about the direction of the MCU.
Neither of the Avengers movies were that great, honestly.
the first avengers was neatly made, pretty simple and charming for a big production. it's no classic but still deserves credit where it's due. it could've easily been an 'iron man and friends' kind of film but instead we got some great chemistry between characters, even though half of those characters had movies that were successful but not exactly smash hits

and hell, i'd take age of ultron over that snyder nonsense any day of the week
At least the first Avengers movie will always have the title of "Classic Movie Theme" to uphold.
I mean, the Avengers theme has been included in pretty much every "classic themes" list, it's probably one of the latest themes to enter the mainstream consciousness in the way the Star Wars or the Indiana Jones theme has.
Neither of the Avengers movies were that great, honestly.
Honestly, Avengers may not have been a masterpiece but it did what it set out to do. It took a bunch of Heroes from different films and put them together and made them the Avengers. It wasn't perfect sure, but it was very enjoyable and every hero got a bunch of moments to shine so you chould champion your favourites. AoU however was just awful, a diamond shat out and sometimes it shines and you think "Oh it's okay!" and you pick it up and hug it but really you're just hugging shit.
I sure do enjoy my daily reminder that people don't like AoU. It doesn't get old at all.
Age of Ultron would have been better if they hadn't cut so much out of it.
