So can he make himself disappear from the movie?

[sp]WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DO DOOM?! He's just a guy in a mask, the trick about Doom isn't he has SUPER AWESOME POWERS NO ONE CAN BEAT, the trick about Doom is that he's one of the smartest people in the Marvel Universe and he can defeat you without having to even touch you. Not a God, not a guy with metal skin, just a really smart dude. Why is it so hard to do that?[/sp]
[sp]Also, real talk for a moment- if Doom wants to conquer the world, why does he want to end it faster?[/sp]
This plotline reeks of dark, edgy and 'we did it different because it's modern times'.

The plotline reeks of shit. That is what I read. [sp] I agree with you on Doom [/sp] I still think the 1994 Doom is the most accurate portrayal of him in a FF film

That thing was a bitch to put together as Sony. You're welcome.
Actually, that reminds me.
Right now, theres a rumor floating around that one of the planned Netflix series after Defenders is going to be Thunderbolts, which i can see happening.
Marvel would be able to use Deadpool in it if they did that version of the team (they already set up Ross, and are setting up Punisher and Elektra, Agent Venom would be unlikely but hey why the fuck not)and Fox wouldnt be able to do a damn thing about it because Fox doesnt own the TV rights to X-Men or Fantastic Four, Marvel does.
In January, Fox had a meeting with Marvel because they want to do a TV show, but they cant without Marvel letting them.
[editline]29th July 2015[/editline]
That'd be kind of an interesting way to use some characters from those franchises that Fox isnt using, and would fit within the budget/story of a Netflix series.
[editline]29th July 2015[/editline]
UNRELATED TO THAT.
So apparently the big guys over at /tv/ saw Fantastic Four early (its releasing on this friday in quite a few countries so it makes sense) so massive fucking spoilers inbound because im gonna post all of it.
Again, spoilers.
Legit, fucking Spoilers yo
Though i doubt any of you are seeing the movie anyway.
This sounds like dog shit holy fuck.
It doesn't sound that bad actually. Not that it sounds good but still
So who will be the big bad after Thanos?
I'm gonna say Norman Osborn. Start it with a Secret Invasion movie and then go full on Dark Reign.

i'm kind of hoping the mcu ends with the infinity war
that or they make the following phases like their own thing

I can't see Infinity Wars not being the end of the MCU as we know it.
The MCU will continue on, Marvel Studios isn't going to just not make movies, but all the characters/actors we know will probably end their roles afterward.
Lots of stuff about Spider-Man here.

Really hate that concept art and Miranda Cosgrove as Betty Brant.
That said, it's almost a shame it's clearly fake, because Hugh Laurie as Jonah is super promising.
that's the thing though
while marvel/disney owns a shitload of characters and i have great faith in kevin feige & his crew, many of the x-men were avengers at one point or another. imo they need to either cut a deal with fox for crossover stuff or just straight up buy the characters.
I know for a fact that I probably will get really disinterested in future MCU films after Infinity War Part 2.
No way.
The Spider-man involvement will only have just begun. I think we got everybody for at least one more phase.
[editline]30th July 2015[/editline]
Don't really buy into a lot of that Spidey website rumour thing.
But I like the costume concept art. If we assume it's an early design for his outfit before he get the iconic red and blue.
No way.

Not really. The only villains I can think of that could be as exciting as Thanos are Dr. Doom and Apocalypse and they are both owned by other studios.
And I don't think there will be another Thor and Cap movie after Civil War and Ragnarok.
I know for a fact that I probably will get really disinterested in future MCU films after Infinity War Part 2.
Im kind of iffy on this.
A lot of the main cast probably won't be back after infinity wars. But they'll have to keep going with Spiderman (probably at least 3 movies) taking over the frontman of marvel when RDJ is gone. But I don't see a lot of the main cast returning for much longer.
Also right now I don't know who they could really bring in to do more with unless they work out a deal with fox.
Maybe they could do a marvel/DC mashup eventually after justice league/infinity wars
That's if the DC Cinematic Universe doesn't crumble in on itself before 2020.
I really doubt the MCU will last for much longer than that, saturation is a thing, and so is genre fatigue, and we haven't even covered that they've basically cherry picked the best stuff already to lead with, which leaves them with nothing to follow up on. Throw in Disney working fatigue on top of that, and I seriously doubt this shit will last past 2025 in it's current form, and that's being pretty generous.

I could see them doing Hyperion and his band of foes as big villians, just because it could be a vehicle to make jabs against the DCCU.

Since Dr. Strange is coming, Dormammu is another potential big villain.
I must once again state my wet dream for the next big MCU movie, which would involve Thanos resurrecting or otherwise assemble the other main villains of the cinematic universe for an epic battle against the new and old Avengers (something like finding out Ultron did survive the event of the Avengers 2 and is put into a new body or the Red Skull being pulled back from the place the Tesserac sent him in)

I feel like Red Skull should come back under the influence of the mind stone controlled by Thanos and acting as his harbinger/lieutenant for his invasion; a tool essentially, much like Loki is/was. It would be fun to see a cabal of villains like Red Skull, Ultron, and whatnot teaming together but I see that unlikely in the cinematic universe.
