If this is where we talk about Marvel Netflix shows, can I just say that the moments when they actually relate the shows to the cinematic universe are the worst in my opinion. Nothing took me out of the show more than Wilson talking about superheroes to the russians and especially Ben holding a bright picture of the battle of new york.
I can't believe how utterly and completely amazing Jessica Jones is as a show

I enjoyed it but I felt that the first few episodes were a bit slow, also I did not enjoy the music at all

In my opinion, the fact that they [sp]caught or nearly got to Kilgrave so many times took a lot of the excitement out of it in the end.[/sp]
Compared to Daredevil, I think it falls a little short. Fight scenes weren't as good. Plot didn't feel as sharp and it could easily have been an episode or two shorter. Too much irrelevant shit like the Robyn character. Outside of Trish and Kilgrave, the characters in general weren't as interesting as in DD. Luke Cage was OK.
I think Kilgrave did wonders for this show. Tennant's acting was superb and his powers and the sheer impossibility of beating a guy like that made for a really interesting story.
Overall, 7/10.
on the topic of fight scenes (which i agree, were terrible in JJ), i hope iron fist has some top notch choreography since he's huge on the whole martial arts stuff

I'm liking the show so far, but the random and constant sex scenes are honestly turning me off of the show. It just adds nothing to the show, and frankly its annoying.
I enjoyed JJ more than DD. Sue me
I liked Purple Man more than Kingpin, but prefer pretty much everything in Daredevil to Jessica Jones.
That said, they're more or less equal in my eyes.

They are pretty front loaded if I remember correctly.
I enjoyed JJ but like everyone else I thought the fight scenes were pretty boring coming off of Daredevil's back. Also I don't know if this was just my impression but I felt they were trying to skirt around showing her flight and it ended up feeling kind of amateurish in that regard.

If Supergirl can do decent-looking flight with CW money, I don't see why Jessica Jones couldn't have ANY flight with Marvel money.
I mean, I didn't mind that she didn't fly, but they could have made her jumping not look like garbage.

apocalypse looks fine, and i don't know why people are whining about his voice. he's not a robot, so he shouldn't have a robotic voice. it's like billy crudup as dr. manhattan in watchmen, his natural voice being used makes more sense.
