I like how Hawkeye has that look on him like
"Welp, who the fuck am I supposed to be fighting?"
[editline]19th December 2015[/editline]
He's looking directly at the camera, maybe he's fighting US
That's the rumored Warhammer?
Fuck me its a Blackjack, I was hoping for big ol' 2 hander that used his shoulder cannon
No, he's still War Machine, but he does have a hammer:
That doesn't look at all like a hammer, it's more like those light sticks they use to guide pilots before take off.
...oh shit, what if that is how the airport battle starts :v:
Just finished Jessica Jones. It was an awesome show, but the fight scenes leave a lot to be desired; especially following the brutality of Daredevil.
yeh they were lame. it kinda didnt even need them tho

I don't think the intention for the JJ fight scenes was for them to be anything like the DD ones. Goofy and superpowered was the brief.
DD had realistic and exhausting brutality because that's what Daredevil fights should be like. He's just a bloke without powers. The Daredevil comics were full of violence and brutality. Alias was full of psychological damage and sex. I think the shows have nailed their respective tones perfectly. If JJ had fights like Daredevil it would be odd.
Speaking of Daredevil, it recently hit me how brilliantly hypocritical the character is in concept.
A lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante.
A blind man with the power of sight.

What, Poison Ivy is totally a hero, she's like captain planet with a better outfit, and Jean Grey only blew up the entire Universe that one time.
racist.
they had lady justice at the beginning of the opening credits and it took you this long lol
I was mostly setting up a crack at gingers, but sure.

[sp]Spider-Man's role in Civil War confirmed to have the proportional strength of a spider[/sp]
So, just to start discussion, do you guys know of a superhero who's abilities actually exist to some degree?
I do.
Daredevil.
Its well documented, and there are actual people who can do it (one guy especially has no fucking eyeballs, so he cant be faking it), its a bit different, but it works exactly like a Bats echolocation, using tongue clicks. It works well enough that this guy with literally no eyeballs can actually ride bike through a street or in the middle of the wilderness alone and be completely fine on his own.

Looks better than I expected him to look.
The white hair is a nice touch, I like it.
Hot damn, I didn't expect it to look so accurate to the comics. I wonder if he'll be a casting choice as perfect as RDJ.
Looks better than I expected him to look.
I had my doubts as him being Dr. Strange, but he does look pretty good as Strange in that picture.
Well, he certainly looks the part, but I hope he'll not half-ass the acting and show a different character from his usual leading role Sherlock-ish persona. Something straight out of Shakespeare play would be more desirable here.
i think youre confusing cumberbatch with hackjob martin freeman whose been doing the exact same performance since he was in the uk version of the office
[editline]28th December 2015[/editline]
cumberbatch will do fine
No I'm not. I'm familiar with Cumberbatch's work on stage and on the big screen he doesn't show a 1/10 of what he's capable of. After Sherlock he's been hired in films requiring that specific persona of his which is actually harmful and limiting for an actor
As for Freeman - [sp]The Eichmann Show[/sp]

Mads Mikkelsen is playing [sp]film's main villain[/sp]
[sp]Mads’ character is a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect,” says the Marvel Studios boss. “[He] believes that the Ancient One is just protecting her own power base and that the world may be better off if we were to allow some of these other things through.[/sp]
Interesting, but also worrisome. Having such talents as Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Michael Stuhlbarg and Scott Adkins makes it very easy to underuse some of them. Which would be a fucking shame.
Mads Mikkelson is playing Doom. Calling it now.
[editline]28th December 2015[/editline]
Well fuck me then.
I thought the villain was Mordo?

Chiwetel Ejiofor is still assigned to this project as him, so it looks like nothing has changed in this department. Maybe we'll see Mordo just for a moment, as a introduction to a character which will later play a bigger role.
uh, i thought that mads was playing [sp]dormammu[/sp]
