not overly familiar with Dr strange what sort of things can I expect from the film
never read it myself but i think he does the 'wise magic man' shtick most of the time, but otherwise is basically just a tony stark-esque selfish playboy, especially before he becomes the sorcerer supreme
expect lots of trippy CGI sequences and the fantasy version of technobabble (fantasybabble?) with a bunch of pointless magical names for spells, which youll forget 30 seconds later (like the "icy tendrils of ikthalon" or "crimson bands of cyttorak")

Imagine if Gandalf was a recovering smartass with a penchant for the dramatics. Also imagine that everytime he used magic, he also took some LSD with it. Add an Asian assistant and you got Doctor Strange.
I'm expecting a teaser to be attached to Civil War in May.
I don't know if it has been said, but apparently Daredevil season 2 premieres on March 25th.

life is good
I had to drag my friends to newest fantastic 4 cause they all just thought it sounded dumb. They came out the other side regretting their premature judgment.
wait what i live under a rock then
i thought bvs was aiming for a summer release
BvS was releasing on the same day as Civil War, but then they changed to the current date.

Marvel really wants to tell DC to fuck off.

dc does it to themselves more than anyone else
they just canceled their live action teen titans show
Good shout. If they've got no interest in linking TV to film I'd rather they use Teen Titans within a film. Otherwise we'd be in the shit situation we are with Flash and Arrow where most characters can't be used because there's film plans.
Supergirl is going to introduce superman and has [sp] martian manhunter [/sp] though. I haven't followed DC tv, but what allows her show to have those characters, but arrow and flash to have secondary heroes?

Spoilers.
[sp]Martian Manhunter is not connected with DCCU atm[/sp] and they danced around the issue of Superman to a ridiculous degree so it's not as easy as you think.
Besides, they mentioned Man of Steel and Dark Knight in a LoT trailer so it seems they are laxing their "NO MIXING" policy.
to my knowledge, any show that isn't a justice league character is okay.
not that the supergirl show matters since it's garbage, and iirc martian manhunter is supposed to be in the jl film.

Where'd you hear that? They're going Cyborg instead of MMH on the JL roster at the very least.
Current rumors are that Cyborgs solo film is gonna get repurposed into a Titans movie which I assume means he'll be the in-between for Titans and JL.
[editline]9th January 2016[/editline]
Also Spider-man reveal may be in the next week
Ok, so here’s the deal: we have photos of the Spider-man hoodie coming very soon. We really, REALLY want to show it to you now, but we’re not allowed to just yet. Make sure you check back on the 15th January for your very first look!
i remember reading stuff about martian manhunter being a woman in the justice league film
but i'm not really following it that much since they decided to screw tv flash and green arrow out of any movie deals.

hmm, I hope it's not a full trailer showing Spiderman. I was really hoping they would wait for the superbowl to reveal him. Maybe it'll just be a teaser till the Superbowl.
It actually feels weird that I want to wait for the superbowl to see Spiderman in a civil war trailer though, when I've been really excited for him finally being apart of the MCU.

Supergirl is actually pretty good. It's a lighter show, which is perfect to me.
i remember reading stuff about martian manhunter being a woman in the justice league film
But we already have a female Martian Manhunter (who's never even been part of the JL) so why would you even do that...
marvel thread fellas
its okay for the most part, i just cant bear myself from laughing when they mention her and supermans relationship all the time which makes me wonder why they even did that
Well... it's kinda inescapable. It's like having a show about the president's daughter. Even if it's the daughter doing other stuff, it's still the president's daughter.
Infinity War will reportedly have 67 or so characters
Expectations are extremely high for Avengers: Infinity War. It's the first two-part film from Marvel Studios and will finally unleash Thanos (Josh Brolin) in all his devastating glory. But just how big is the film. At Wizard World New Orleans, directors Joe & Anthony Russo teased the film's scope by revealing how many characters are central to the film's plot. When Anthony Russo mistakenly referred to Hayley Atwell's Marvel character as 'Sharon' Carter, his brother Joe came to his defense. "We have so many characters we're dealing with. We're breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it. You have to forgive him."

so expect lots of deaths, possibly?
90% of those will just be cameos
so expect lots of deaths, possibly?
Actually [sp]it's possible that certain dead characters might be brought back for this[/sp].
More characters =/= better. Didn't they learn anything from Age of Ultron? Cameos are fine, but I dread having to listen to 67 witty one-liners
