I really hope they bring Blade back Remember in the 2nd movie when he suplexed a vampire so hard into the ground it straight up fucking died
I believe the president of Marvel went on record as saying they're going with an already established Spiderman and not retelling his origins for the third time. At the point of Ant-Man, there's someone already climbing up walls and swinging about NYC.
I'm a bit confused, are you people hoping Miles will be the MCU Spider-Man or you wish he was? Because last I heard Peter Parker was cast. And yeah, they said their Spidey will be already operating during Civil War (Ant-Man had a quick reference to him). As for Miles I personally never read a comic with him so I can't talk much about his character. I have to say this though. Not a fan of his costume. They have this opportunity to give him a new costume... And they give a black character mostly black costume? Come on.
I still remember that really obvious feminism comment in the FemThor comic. [t]https://i.imgur.com/ApugwJv.jpg[/t]
Good lord that was atrocious
Marvel may deny it but it's obvious he was made solely for the PC crowd.
it's absolutely made for the pc crowd but unlike most of the other characters that are re-written for the pc crowd, miles has a decent group of writers.

can we just have an origin story where peter gets shot while trying to save uncle ben and uncle ben, out of pure hatred and a desire for vengeance - no powers or anything- becomes a vigilante and finally brings justice to NY as uncle-man?

*friendly uncle voice* hey champ! you forgot your jacket! *proceeds to brutally strangle security guard to death with the jacket*
I still remember that really obvious feminism comment in the FemThor comic. [t]https://i.imgur.com/ApugwJv.jpg[/t] Jesus christ. I hope there isn't a part where someone in the Black Spiderman comic says, "Spiderman isn't supposed to be black!" or some shit. Treating someone in a previously unseen position as a norm is fine, but don't mention political correctness comments to the point of obviousness. It's like playing a military game and some soldier says, "Damn female soldiers ruining my military squad."
Female Thor is a perfectly fine concept, it's just that, while most of the time the character is perfectly acceptable, they had to shoehorn in some awful, awful, awful dialogue that would be out of place for any other female super hero, or and hero for that matter, to say. That and who Female Thor actually is makes no sense whatsoever and goes against a particular character's entire history

Plus her being female Thor while having cancer is really dumb in my opinion and only feels like an out for writers to kill her off.[/sp]
*friendly uncle voice* hey champ! you forgot your jacket! *proceeds to brutally strangle security guard to death with the jacket*
so that's the origin of the MCU punisher
I haven't seen it been said in here from a quick ctrl+f but: Netflix is working on a Punisher spin off: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/netflix-plotting-punisher-spinoff-starring-856398

Every issue we had a 'wow, she does things with Mjolnir I could never do' dialogue from Thor, or one of the villains going 'woah this one is different/stronger/whatever'. Seriously, if you need other characters to constantly talk about how good another character is, that's just bad writing, no matter the gender.

Or kill him. Killing him would be one of the dumbest things you could do with a character that popular in his introduction.
It's pretty cool to see that Punisher is getting his own spinoff. Limiting him to Daredevil would've been a waste of potential.
The Marvel train just doesn't stop.
A Punisher spin-off and Jessica Jones season two? Fucking hell, smiling like an idiot here. On that note, can we please have a villain who doesn't spawn an intensely creepy fandom?
I wonder who's going to be the big bad in the second season of JJ

Is that a helicarrier?
Is that a helicarrier?
Hey what the fuck, yeah, what is that.
I wonder who's going to be the big bad in the second season of JJ
I would love to have them bring Calvin Zabo back for JJ.
Hey what the fuck, yeah, what is that.
Well the Helicarrier wasn't invented by the MCU, Fox can probably use it, just not the exact design.
Well the Helicarrier wasn't invented by the MCU, Fox can probably use it, just not the exact design.
No, but the Helicarrier is closely associated with SHIELD.
And by closely i mean the Helicarrier is literally a SHIELD thing.
Flying Aircraft carriers are not a unique concept. Doctor Who had one as well
My merge
Flying Aircraft carriers are not a unique concept. Doctor Who had one as well
In Marvel context they are. [editline]17th January 2016[/editline] What the fuck is happening with automerge. [editline]17th January 2016[/editline] Like, within Marvel alone, this is the comic they first appeared in. You cant really get more SHIELD than that.
