i seriously don't understand you guys. the deadpool marketing is going for the obvious 'sex and violence' jokes and it get hailed as 'the cleverest marketing strategy of the century'.
the only thing that remotely passed off as clever was mimicking the green lantern poster, but even then it was just mimicking the green lantern poster. it has the same level of cleverness as a family guy cutaway gag.

As lame as the "LOL THE POSTER IS OF HIS CROTCH" marketing is, you cannot deny that stuff like the Valentine's Day posters and response to the emoji billboard response is incredibly clever for a modern superhero movie's marketing.
Especially from Fox.

I have low standards and enjoy pretty much every movie you put in front of me. I liked TDW, but it ranks fairly low when I compare it to other MCU films.

i would rate iron man 3 higher but the mandarin twist just really killed it for me. the short was great and all but i don't think we'll get anything out of it.

I often forget that Thor 2 exists, besides being a pretty terrible film, it's extremely forgettable. There's nothing special about the film that changes anything, whether it be the overall story of the MCU or Thor's character.

The only thing that really makes the Thor movies interesting is Loki and the family squabble. Thor's journey, though entertaining, isn't as interesting as others. Thor 2 can be forgettable if it wasn't for Loki and The Aether being an Infinity Stone.
The Iron Man films, now, I don't see how they're 'shit'. They're entertaining to say the least.

IM2 is all over the place. Incredibly unfocused, bizarre editing that loses the flow between scenes. IM3 made some strange choices (very little "Iron Man" in an Iron Man movie, the kid, the Mandarin), but in the end they were good choices, in my opinion. IM suit action hasn't been new since IM2, no matter how much shit you're going to throw at the screen, so show little of it, so it would matter. The Stark/kid teamup works, because it makes us remember that Tony is a smart guy, he's an inventor - you kind of forget about it after a while.
