I hope Marvel has a secret trailer prepared for The Super Bowl tonight that finally reveals Spiderman. This will be the largest viewing audience in a single night, so it's time for them to reveal him imo. Even if it's just like a 5 second tease.
It'd be the single biggest missed opportunity for Sony and Marvel if they dont do that.

They pretty much flat-out said it'd be too complicated from a paperwork standpoint to put him in any of the marketing.
That said, if they're gonna show him in anything, it'd either be in the absolute last trailer or tonight.

Jennifer Lawrence is the only one that you can see in every scene how she despises playing that character and regrets signing on that many films, now that she's a big shot. At least with Fassbender he's consistent and professional about his job, but with her... eh.

They didn't change her costume to show her face more clearly. They did it because the First Class make up took too long to get done and was "too itchy" for Lawrence.
The DOFP/Apocalypse costume blows.
i doubt it's any "itchier" or much more difficult to apply than nicholas hoult's costume

Makeup time is a completely valid reason but it's kind of a win win situation and they were fully aware of it
On one hand they get to cut down on production costs and make filming easier, while on the other hand, they appease the oscar-winning actress who only signed up for a paycheck and some recognition. And on the third hand, because even X-men metaphors are mutants, you solve the massive problem that the character has of only showing the actor underneath half the time.
But you can bet your ass that if Rebecca Romijn walked up to Singer complaining about the costume she wouldn't have been met with much more than a "We'll think about it"
