I'm pretty sure she said this is the very last one she'll ever do so your wish is granted.
Yep, so does the rest of the crew, including Fassbender, Hoult, Rosa Byrne and the rest that had contracts for three films. I'm unsure about McAvoy, because he seems to be really enthusiastic about the role, so maybe he'll stick around for longer.
Jlaw is the new wolverine :(
Yeah, it feels like they're shoving in more stuff with Mystique because she's the 'it' character now... and somehow is still nothing compared to the Mystique from the comics. That's my big problem with the FOX X-Men films: it's always about the same one or two characters with the exception of a mutant with one stellar scene.
Honestly, where can they even go after Apocalypse? That's like the numero uno villain, only real option is to do spinoffs or crossovers with Deadpool and F4.

I get the sense Fox is going to be less about a coherent universe and more Bond like. Reboots that aren't reboots. So they might completely restart and recast the X-Men but still use the Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool. Like Judi Dench still being M in the 'rebooted' Craig-Bond. I get the sense with Jackman on his way out and the First Class' contracts expiring they'll be looking at hitting reset on a lot of things soon.

Besides who doesn't wanna see Channing Tatum or Gerard Butler with white hair.:what:

The true fun of the X-Men come when you've got decades of relationship drama, complicated family dynamics and recurring threats, and the only place you can get that is television. If not, I'm sure they can hatchet the non-FOX heroes out of House of M and come up with something.
I really enjoyed the x-men cartoon series, they could do something similar to it and would be able to focus on more characters.

Kirkman is having enough trouble with TWD because of favorites, pretty sure X-men would need to keep a pretty sharp and tight roster to keep interest, as we can see from what CW/TW is doing with the DC roster. "Mutant of the week" would get real old real fast amongst the general public.

Well that kinda goes back my original point, people didn't like Doggett and Reyes as much and dropped off, even though Gish and Patrick were perfectly fine actors and didn't fuck up the premise. People generally dislike change unless they like it, as dumb as that sounds. Compressing 30 years of Chris "I can't finish a storyline, ever" Claremont into 7/10 seasons, much less post X-cutioner continuity would require more money, logistical bullshit and crafting than FOX is willing to put in, I think, unless you could get something like Sons of Anarchy continuity going, where the actors don't care about the pay and time because they love the story and staff that much.

You start with the original gang in the first season and you slowly build up. And you don't need to stay super faithful to the source material. It's an adaptation, after all.

Still waiting on a film adaptation of any iteration of X-Force :v: (or Necrosha, since Fox are sitting on the X-Men IP anyway)
part of the ending to Civil War got leaked https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10880103/pics/civil%20war%20ending.gif
How did they even get Ryan Reynolds to be Deadpool if he was destined to play Green Lantern for the rest of his life?

The lack of Crossbones in the Civil War trailers is somewhat concerning.
The lack of Crossbones in the Civil War trailers is somewhat concerning.
Not really. [sp]Since seeing him could spoil the HYDRA plot that's going on[/sp]
I really hope going to see deadpool at lunch time on a thursday will minimize the amount of smelly noisy fuckin kids that might be there Hopefully empty theater in general, I hate it when there's a crowd
Not really. [sp]Since seeing him could spoil the HYDRA plot that's going on[/sp]
It's completely possible to show him in action scenes without spoiling any plot to anything.
It's completely possible to show him in action scenes without spoiling any plot to anything.
[sp]He worked for HYDRA in previous movie, most people who actually remember something from Winter Soldier would immediately think that HYDRA is involved in Civil War.[/sp] They are trying to play the marketing safe.
[sp]He worked for HYDRA in previous movie, most people who actually remember something from Winter Soldier would immediately think that HYDRA is involved in Civil War.[/sp] They are trying to play the marketing safe.
The average viewer isn't going to see Crossbones and go oh hey [sp]that's the punk bitch that got his ass handed to him by Cap in Winter Soldier. That must mean HYDRA is still active!!![/sp]
[sp]He worked for HYDRA in previous movie, most people who actually remember something from Winter Soldier would immediately think that HYDRA is involved in Civil War.[/sp] They are trying to play the marketing safe.
It's a Captain America movie, of course they're involved :v: Also very very few people realized Crossbones was in Winter Soldier because he's never mentioned by that name in the film.
It's a Captain America movie, of course they're involved :v: Also very very few people realized Crossbones was in Winter Soldier because he's never mentioned by that name in the film.
Marvel is marketing Civil War as a conflict between heroes, with no third parties involved. Crossbones could screw with that. They are playing it very safe but it's not the first time.
I really hope going to see deadpool at lunch time on a thursday will minimize the amount of smelly noisy fuckin kids that might be there Hopefully empty theater in general, I hate it when there's a crowd
I'm going at the midnight premiere today and I know there'll be thirteen year olds there. I almost wanna do a 'meme/dick/sex joke' count.
Ragnarok will have Thor fighting himself?
As far as I know, Ragnarok is the name of Thor's clone.
As far as I know, Ragnarok is the name of Thor's clone.
theres a ragnarok storyline about the mythical event that destroys asgard (?) which is what the clone is named after [editline]10th February 2016[/editline] the movie is about the storyline
