Actors rarley watch the movies at premieres. They all sneak out. They watch it in their own time, they come in and sign shit and do pictures and some interviews. Then they sneak out the back and drive off the the airport to get to another country to do the next one. Or be on a chat show somewhere. A lot of the time they don't want to sit through something they knew inside out for months (it's only a fun blockbuster not a Kubrick) and something they'd have to watch like 5 times in a week. [editline]2nd August 2015[/editline]
Not really. The only villains I can think of that could be as exciting as Thanos are Dr. Doom and Apocalypse and they are both owned by other studios. And I don't think there will be another Thor and Cap movie after Civil War and Ragnarok.
Dormammu, Galactus and Norman Osborn can and have all kicked the shit out of the universe a few times. Loki, Red Skull (100% not dead) and Doc Ock also have a big reach. I'm sure we'll get some more out of Ultron down the line. I would be surprised if one of those ends up being Starlord's dad too.

It doesn't mean never. 10 marvel movies since 2000 have gotten 80+ according to the post on the top of this page. Though I still don't think the movie will do good, it's just several people are misreading rarely as never.

I don't think that qualifies as "rare" either.
That's 10 films 80 or above in the past 15 years they've been routinely making Marvel films. I don't know that number, but if it's really just 10 movies in the past 15 years seems a bit rare.
I would be surprised if one of those ends up being Starlord's dad too.
They already confirmed that his father will be different from the comics.
Dormammu, Galactus and Norman Osborn can and have all kicked the shit out of the universe a few times. Loki, Red Skull (100% not dead) and Doc Ock also have a big reach. I doubt we'll see more from Loki (Probably only in Thor movies), I hope Red Skull comes back and Doctor Ock has the same problem as Norman.
I don't know, I think a lot can be done with Norman Osbourne. I mean, not compared to Thanos, but he can be a super heavy-weight terrestrial villain, possibly serving as a decent stand-in for Dr. Doom, who would be an ideal heavy for a movie or two. And since Batman V. Superman is turning Lex Luthor into the founder of Facebook or some shit, we need a super evil hardcore businessman in comic movies. Er, you know, besides Obidiah Stane, Justin Hammer, Killian Aldrich, and Darren Cross. Someone actually intimidating who puts the suit on for something besides the last minute boss fight.
Norman Osborn just really isn't that interesting imo, at least not to top Thanos
norman osborn in the comics is a lot smarter than both of the on-screen portrayals we've had of him think of him like lex luthor, he's the manipulative guy who pulls strings to get what he wants but is really charismatic to the rest of the public. he'd be like robert redford in CA: TWS except a bit more crazy and with some more "saturday morning cartoon villain" moments where he goes "ah i'll have to take matters into my own hands" and goes off to fight everyone while dressed up for halloween

He manages to become head of Shield and replace The Avengers with his own team of villains. Then invades Asgard and pretty much destroys it.

I just had war memories of this movie somehow making a sequel and then making a 'wow look at this movie they made about us ha ha ha they suck'.
Spider-Man news for Civil War. http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2015/08/03/peter-parker-shot-his-civil-war-cameo Peter Parker has a cameo. HOWEVER. Spider-Man has been on set for some time, played by various stunt men, and Tom Holland will ADR over them.
It's important here to know that Tom Holland shooting his bit isn't the same as Spider-Man shooting his bit. Spider-Man has been on that set for a while, played by stunt men. All you need Tom Holland for is any Peter Parker scenes, because otherwise he can come into a local recording studio and loop Spidey's dialogue at any point between now and release. Basically if Spidey's mask is off you need Tom Holland, but every other scene happens without him. How many scenes will Spider-Man be in? I don't know the exact number, but sources have recently made it clear to me that there's more Spider-Man in this movie than I expected. Spider-Man doesn't just swing by and say hi - gets his hands dirty in this Civil War. He fights. And his fight scene might be the one that really gets fandom excited - not because of how top tier the face-off will be, but because of how profoundly dorky and unlike any other big screen superhero fight it will be. So for the record: Peter Parker will have a cameo, while Spider-Man will have a few scenes and at least one fight that will be jockeying for a spot on the best superhero battles ever list.
I don't recall if it's been mentioned in this thread but apparently Fantfourstic is only 99 minutes long, credits included. http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/fantastic-four-film
Spider-Man news for Civil War. http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2015/08/03/peter-parker-shot-his-civil-war-cameo Peter Parker has a cameo. HOWEVER. Is he going to be messing with Iron Man/Cap? I feel like if they advertise Civil War enough and tease spiderman/holland in the trailers this movie could get close to beating ultron in the box office.

http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/fantastic-four-film
That's... amazingly short. I thought 'movies used to be short back in the day' but nope. Spider-Man 2 was 124 minutes. The first X-Men is 104. [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] Hey guys, early buzz for Fantastic Four is out and it's positive notes coming from an audience of people who got invited for being friends of the cast, got free food and drinks and then got to see a bunch more celebrities! Despite all that, we can always trust Early Buzz, right? Right?
Spider-Man news for Civil War. http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2015/08/03/peter-parker-shot-his-civil-war-cameo Peter Parker has a cameo. HOWEVER. It's from F4 movie. Really.
So... Uh... Anyone got the old What The Christ emote?
Why cut your toenails? oh you know because long toenails look gross? Probably went to his wife and was like "look don't get jealous but Kate Mara off F4 wanted me to notice her toes" [sp] If he has a wife [/sp]
well what the fuck, what was that buzz about him doing backflips and shit for if it's fucking stuntmen the rest of the time?
Because he hadnt been hired yet but the suit was already done.
Looking at the article, they don't seem to have anything to suggest Spider-Man having a fight scene or anything like that. The one quote they include only states that Peter Parker has a cameo and that we might get a look at the suit, while the rest of their claims aren't really backed up by anything at all. Sorry to be Mr Cynic but I've read too many bs articles about unreleased MCU films to get my hopes up yet.
One thing the new movie will never have on the 2004 version is Michael Chiklis.
you know you've set some low expectations for a movie when the trainwreck that was the 2004 FF starts to look good in comparison
Why would Marvel hype up Spiderman for Civil War if it's just a cameo?
