I wish Fox and Marvel would come to an agreement eventually. Deadpool referencing Spiderman makes me want those two to interact like in one of the cartoon shows.

Remember the two new X-Men TV Shows despite Marvel firmly holding the rights to X-Men live action TV from Fox for the longest time?
the latter gave us one of the best gags of the film with the Indian dude
I really hope they bring back the entire cast.
Taskmaster was in the original script, the budget prevented him from showing up apparently.
Doesn't Marvel own the film rights to Taskmaster though?
Doesn't Marvel own the film rights to Taskmaster though?
I think when the deals were originally made he was still a supporting character for Deadpool primarily. At most he's probably one of the shared characters.
Taskmaster was in the original script, the budget prevented him from showing up apparently.
Wait, FOX owns Taskmaster? That's really disappointing, I was hoping he could appear in the MCU. Edit: Oops, late as hell.
Just got home from Deadpool, that was a really good superhero movie, a really great R rated superhero movie. It was exactly as I had expected and was not disappointed by any of it.
i hope there's an opening line about the budget

I just saw Deadpool, I wasn't expecting much but it was very entertaining, I wouldn't say it was "good" but it could have been a lot worse.
Man, when he was arguing with Colossus on the freeway, I was laughing so hard I was crying. I had to wipe tears away.
Man, when he was arguing with Colossus on the freeway, I was laughing so hard I was crying. I had to wipe tears away.
That bit where he [sp]whips the hubcap at Francis[/sp] might be the best joke in the movie. The timing on it and the way it's shot is just perfect.
Who is Taskmaster and why does he always have to deal with Deadpool?
Who is Taskmaster and why does he always have to deal with Deadpool?
Here is his Wikipedia page.
Was it just because I saw the movie today, or was there a considerable amount of Valentines Day references?
I really want a sequel now that we are past the "playing it kinda safe introduction" stage and they can go nuts with it
My only complaint about Deadpool was I thought they could have done something hilarious with him making the suit, given most super heroes (especially Spiderman) appear to be masters of sewing and fashion. Would have loved a 5 second flashback to him in a stitching class with a bunch of old women before everything went down to show how was actually able to make it.

Its funny because isn't punisher supposed to be like 60, he must just gain youth from mafia goon blood
They'll probably just make it so instead of being in Nam he was in the Gulf/Iraq War. Its what they did with Tony. As far as hero vs (anti-)hero I'm way more hype for this than CW right now. Also you can see parts of a new costume/mask for DD in the trailer
Its funny because isn't punisher supposed to be like 60, he must just gain youth from mafia goon blood
The hell are you smoking, Frank was always supposed to be in his late thirties early fourties. He's Nam vet just because of the weird way Marvel tries to keep their origin stories.
The hell are you smoking, Frank was always in his late thirties early fourties.
he's a nam vet???
he's a nam vet???
4 years in real life=1 year in Marvel Time when it comes to aging. Besides, it's not comics universe, Frank is clearly just starting his career here.
I think he still is in the comics. How he doesn't look like he's in his late 60s early 70s? It's complicated.
4 years in real life=1 year in Marvel Time when it comes to aging.
I still think marvel wanted him to have the cool vet story but not actually want him to be old as shit so they just ignore age
he's a nam vet???
Vietcong, Gulf War, Afghanistan, what;s the fucking difference, war is a war
Vietnam, Gulf War, Afghanistan, what;s the fucking difference, war is a war
You weren't there man! also ftfy
Vietcong, Gulf War, Afghanistan, what;s the fucking difference, war is a war
Only the second one is seen as a victory. The other two (specially the first one) are gardly seen as a victory.
Only the second one is seen as a victory. The other two (specially the first one) are gardly seen as a victory.
it doesn't really matter who gets his ass kicked when regional political instability is the only post-war certainty.
Just saw Deadpool. Overall I liked it. I'm not a huge fan of Deadpool, the little I read with him in it was either really good or too random. Luckily the movie has some really funny moments. [sp]I'm sad I can't say the love story was handled completely well. It started good but than it took a bigger part than I'd like. I wasn't also feeling the old lady parts of the movie. The best part is of course the highway section. I'm really glad Cable will be in the next movie because I believe Deadpool is at his best when he has a straight man buddy. Him with Colossus (nice to see him this big, metal, kind and Russian) and Warhead were the funniest scenes for me. Lastly, the movie tries to hide (and does an amazing job at that) but it still follows the very tired superhero formula.[/sp]
