Tons. Bullseye is a big one. Typhoid Mary. The Hand [sp](which they're doing)[/sp] Nuke. Pretty much any Spider-Man villain now, presumably. [editline]15th February 2016[/editline] Dont forget Owl. And mother fuckin Stilt-Man.
there's also a decent opportunity to throw in some iron man villains as well, along with any new red skulls or hydra people, and hulk villains too. really, they need to stop doing the movies and just do netflix shows for everything.
New Netflix superhero series! 24 hour streaming of a green screen, every 20 minutes a different cast comes on and acts out their script or ad libs everything for whatever superhero show they're supposed to be from. Continues until heat death of universe.

Elektra started out as a easter egg and now look at her.[/sp]
I think the world needs a few more R rated superhero films.
Unfortunately the fact is that, just like Kick-Ass, you're gonna see a lot of movies that take the wrong lesson from Deadpool and treat the audience like idiots. Oh, don't get me wrong, I do get why it was a success and I do respect it, but that doesn't mean I think it's funny. Or good. Just think about how many movies came out with trailers filled with quips and a pop song after Guardians of the Galaxy.
And Owl [sp]is fuckin dead[/sp]
No. [sp]They set up his son.[/sp]
No. [sp]They set up his son.[/sp]
That would be incredibly lame n cliche for such a high caliber show. It would also be weak as fuck considering [sp]Fisk killed Owlsey, so his son would have no reason to beef with DD[/sp]. The writers closed that door, there's no reason to open it back up.

hah Deadpool spoilers: [sp]There is a tube a Hello Kitty Lip Balm in the opening sequence, and the only twitter account of the official twitter page is following is Hello kitty[/sp]
I never felt like Deadpool was treating me like an idiot.
The studios. Not the movie.
Unfortunately the fact is that, just like Kick-Ass, you're gonna see a lot of movies that take the wrong lesson from Deadpool and treat the audience like idiots. Just think about how many movies came out with trailers filled with quips and a pop song after Guardians of the Galaxy.
Wow it was weird reading this post immediately after James Gunn's post, which I'm guessing you read before making that lol. Doesn't look like anyone posted it yet so here it is for anyone curious, Gunn's response to Deadpool's success and the reaction everyone's having to it doing way better than expected (Gunn wrote+directed Guardians of the Galaxy just in case anyone didn't know)
"The film has a self-deprecating tone that’s riotous. It’s never been done before. It’s poking fun at Marvel. That label takes itself so seriously, can you imagine them making fun of themselves in a movie? They’d rather stab themselves.” That's a quote from Deadline Hollywood, attributing it to a Hollywood "suit." I love Deadline and get a lot of my film business news from them. And I love Deadpool even more - the film is hilariously funny, has lots of heart, and is exactly what we need right now, taking true risks in spectacle film - but COME THE FUCK ON. That's no reason to rewrite history. This quote has to have been said by the dumbest fucking Hollywood exec in the history of dumb fucking Hollywood execs. Let's ignore Guardians for a moment, a movie that survives from moment to moment building itself up and cutting itself down - God knows I'm biased about that one. But what do you think Favreau and Downey did in Iron Man? What the fuck was Ant-Man??! Come on, Deadline. After every movie smashes records people here in Hollywood love to throw out the definitive reasons why the movie was a hit. I saw it happen with Guardians. It "wasn't afraid to be fun" or it "was colorful and funny" etc etc etc. And next thing I know I hear of a hundred film projects being set up "like Guardians," and I start seeing dozens of trailers exactly like the Guardians trailer with a big pop song and a bunch of quips. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Deadpool wasn't that. Deadpool was its own thing. THAT'S what people are reacting to. It's original, it's damn good, it was made with love by the filmmakers, and it wasn't afraid to take risks. For the theatrical experience to survive, spectacle films need to expand their definition of what they can be. They need to be unique and true voices of the filmmakers behind them. They can't just be copying what came before them. So, over the next few months, if you pay attention to the trades, you'll see Hollywood misunderstanding the lesson they should be learning with Deadpool. They'll be green lighting films "like Deadpool" - but, by that, they won't mean "good and original" but "a raunchy superhero film" or "it breaks the fourth wall." They'll treat you like you're stupid, which is the one thing Deadpool didn't do. But hopefully in the midst of all this there will be a studio or two that will take the right lesson from this - like Fox did with Guardians by green-lighting Deadpool - and say - "Boy, maybe we can give them something they don't already have." And that's who is going to succeed. Have a great day.
Being said, I agree a lot with him.
I read a discussion between two critics on Twitter and they did mention the post, yeah, but nothing more than that?
Alright? I was just saying its funny you said the same things as him right after I read his post, right down to you both citing trailers with qipps and pop music ripping off the guardians trailer lol.
every post u make from this point where u dont just admit u parroted james gunn is digging you into a hole and it is obvious to everyone
sure, whatever. you do your thing rusty.
the weakest part of the movie for me was the CGI at the end when the [sp]aircraft carrier/not-helicarrier[/sp] is crumbling to bits the deck was basically completely featureless and looked bad
hah Deadpool spoilers: [sp]There is a tube a Hello Kitty Lip Balm in the opening sequence, and the only twitter account of the official twitter page is following is Hello kitty[/sp]
Also his gun bag toward the end of the film.
Looks like Fox is anticipating Wolverine 3 to be rated R. http://screenrant.com/wolverine-3-rated-r/ Would be pretty cool if it goes through.
Looks like Fox is anticipating Wolverine 3 to be rated R.
Watch the whole thing be PG-13 and it get an R rating for just one scene where Deadpool makes a cameo and says "fuck" in it :v:
x-men first class had wolverine say "go fuck yourself" and it was pg-13 pg-13 flicks can have the word fuck but only once or so. they did that in the italian job as well, but i think that was a freudian slip on ed norton's part, and not the actual script. on another note, ryan reynolds interviewed hugh jackman for his new movie, he snuck in some origins jabs.
Just saw Deadpool again, Ryan Reynolds is really fucking perfect for that role. Felt like he was channeling Will Ferrell at some points, he was just a delight.
Looks like Fox is anticipating Wolverine 3 to be rated R. http://screenrant.com/wolverine-3-rated-r/ Would be pretty cool if it goes through.
It'd be nice but I don't have a lot of faith in it. Wolverine is the most marketable mutant FOX has in its stable, even if the new movies insist on focusing on Mystique. Wolverine sells, that's it, and FOX has 15+ years of marketing Wolverine to kids on its back. It'd be nice for us but on marketing will probably trump this decision. And even if they do get the R rating, they have to do something with it. The reason why the other Wolverine movies were boring certainly wasn't because they were PG-13.
Out of all the films to mention actors in, they attribute Kurt Russel to Furious 7? :v:
They could've at least said Escape From New York or Tombstone. (Tombstone is fucking amazing.)
To be fair, the Fast and the Furious movies are more likely to be recognized by modern audiences.
To be fair, the Fast and the Furious movies are more likely to be recognized by modern audiences.
I just feel it would be more appropriate to list a film he played a major, if not starring, role in.
Oh shit it's Cleary from The Knick
I'm thinking Elizabeth Debicki is going to play a villain, but a part of me hopes that they're bringing her in as Phyla-Vell
