Hold on, I say I don't like Stephen Lang being cast as Cable only due to his performance in Avatar, having no objection to Cable being in the movie at all. Then AaronM202 says (No question marks) Meaning Cable doesn't fit in a Deadpool movie. Then shares a link to a comic where there are teamed up. I get annoyed as his cryptic meaning and I'm the bad person ... hmm. Comic book culture I guess. And I was trying so hard not to make a mess of the tread.
To be fair, it did seem like you were originally referring to Cable.
Who is the top pick for that Cable character in the next Deadpool movie?

Martin Freemans character confirmed to be [sp]Everett Ross[/sp] [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] Stephen Lang is pushing pretty hard for the role

Really? Just doesn't seem to fit in a Deadpool movie.
I was referring to Lang. Why would I ask 'who was playing Cable' if I thought he didn't fit in a Deadpool movie? I would have said, "Cable doesn't fit in a Deadpool" Which I didn't say. Miscommunication at it's finest
He also deleted the one i left him lol.
I didn't see why I should leave it there. You said
Cable. Doesnt fit in a Deadpool movie. [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] Are you legit right now.
( I don't see a question mark there or any indication of sarcasm) Why wouldn't Cable fit in a Deadpool, you're the comic man you must know something I don't. Doesnt fit in a Deadpool movie." Then posts links to Deadpool and Cable, when all I mean was that I didn't think Lang would be good as Cable? Hmm ... cryptic, think I'll get annoyed. Here's something funny:

I didnt get upset about anything?
I didnt get upset about anything?
Just shut the fuck up. Take it to PMs if you really must keep it going.
Just shut the fuck up. Take it to PMs if you really must keep it going.
Jeez, calm down, we already did.
I heard somewhere that the reason spider man hasn't been in any civil war trailers was something to do with marvel and fox still working on commercial rights for him or something silly like that.
I heard somewhere that the reason spider man hasn't been in any civil war trailers was something to do with marvel and fox still working on commercial rights for him or something silly like that.
Sony.
I heard somewhere that the reason spider man hasn't been in any civil war trailers was something to do with marvel and fox still working on commercial rights for him or something silly like that.
Which makes me extremely sad. They could have mirrored the deal with the actual movie. (IIRC, the deal with the movie rights were that Marvel gets the profits of their movies Spiderman appears in, and Sony gets all the profits of the actual Spiderman movies). The commercial revenue for Spiderman in Civil War goes to Marvel, and vice versa for Sony on the Spiderman movie coming out next year. Though, now that I think about it, maybe they can't decide on what they want to show of Spiderman, but eh, idk.
It probably was in the deal. But this stuff is so complicated it takes a lot to go through all the shit and figure out exactly what they have rights to. Maybe it's a good excuse to not show anything of him until the movie.

/\ this exactly. why would you even want him in the marketing campaign, gonna be such a treat for the final film
It's set to beat the top grossing rated-R flick, Passion of the Christ.
uhh top grossing in the united states you mean. The top grossing R rated movie is the Matrix Reloaded, at $742 million... But people are also predicting it's gonna beat that too so whatever lol.
Long story short: Deadpools making mad bank. [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] Long story longer: Tom Rothman will never have a successful career at a major company ever again.
Hopefully the next Deadpool movie's budget will at least be $100-125 million.
They already said they want to keep the budget small. It lets them think outside the box and isnt necessary for the type of world Deadpool inhabits.
They already said they want to keep the budget small. It lets them think outside the box and isnt necessary for the type of world Deadpool inhabits.
I find this hard to believe after seeing the loooong list of things they had to cut from the film.
I find this hard to believe after seeing the loooong list of things they had to cut from the film.
They said that it was probably a good thing because it condensed unnecessary characters into single characters (Angel Dust)
haven't read the statement but that sounds more like they made the best out of what they had, which came with some upsides, not that it's what they'd rather work with
Sure, they made the best out of the budget. But that doesn't mean they should get a lower budget again. They will just try to recreate cutting corners, it probably won't be as good if they try that, because they will know ahead of time of their limits, and it won't feel as unique imo. Give them a bigger budget.
yeah but don't go overboard. the film had a budget of about $60m. don't go over like $95m at the most.
I find this hard to believe after seeing the loooong list of things they had to cut from the film.
what list?
Deadpool is exactly what the super hero genre needed imo, and the changes that'll come from the R rating are going to be seen abused to its fullest. See: wolverine
it seems wolverine 3 will be based on old man logan and getting that r rating http://www.denofgeek.us/movies/wolverine/253088/the-wolverine-3-story-and-r-rating-information-confirmed

Guess they're just gonna do a DoFP and retain only the basic premise? "Sentinels have killed everyone, someone gets sent back in time to stop it", "Wolverine is an old pacifist and everything is terrible"?
