Anyone holding out on JK Simmons returning to play JJJ, give up hope now, he's just been confirmed as Commisioner Gordon in Justice League

Having seen him in Whiplash and Spider-Man, a role like Jim Gordon sounds so...off.
No reason he couldn't do a cameo role, right? It's not like JJ's role was so big they had to keep him around for months, they could probably knock out his scenes in a day or two if they wanted.

He's not going to show up in any Marvel movie now.
JK was a perfect Jameson, but let's be honest, did anyone ACTUALLY expect them to cast him in the MCU? He had his turn, it was memorable and great, now let's let someone else take a shot.
Hugh Laurie or John McGinley would be fantastic as well, I think.
Also, I have no idea who this Zendaya is, but I don't care who she is as long as it's not Felicia Hardy.
Just cast Gary Oldman as Jonah Jameson
I'd be all down for that.

I know where you're going with that, but that may actually be a decent pick
You guy's wanted a skull, here it is in all it's glory.
(Keeping it in a link incase anyone here want's to see it when it air's)

according to my research, marisa tomei is neither married nor a mother. in this case, i hope she goes on the bachelorette and i happen to audition at the same time.
but she's still fine anyway.
Good.
My major fear about this project would be that it would try to cram too much (Cap vs Tony, Strucker and HYDRA, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Giant Man, Hawkeye vs Widow, Bucky, etc.) into the standard hour and a half/2 hours runtime.
With that it can totally cover all its bases no problem.
Awesome BvS is around 2 hours 37 mins long and this is 2 hours 26 mins long. I wouldn't mind more comic movies with multiple characters and storylines getting even closer to the three hour mark.
Seems like it's shaping up to be a really good movie with the extra time allowing the storylines to breathe more.
I'm excited!

I don't remember the last three hour movie I watched.
All the problems I can attribute to movies like Age of Ultron and even Captain America 1 (one of my personal favorite MCU films) is how short it was.
Imagine Age of Ultron where Ultron had more time to be built up as a threat, or where we got more characterization for Thor?
Imagine The First Avenger where that entire montage was a collection of individual action sequences?
Make the movies longer, hire people who are talented enough to write in some greater dimension than the standard 90 minute blockbuster.
I'm glad Infinity Wars were split into two
Something to end the week with tomorrow

Taking bets on Spidey appearing for Final Trailer. Agree for he shows up, disagree for no show
I still don't think he'll have a role big enough to warrant being in the trailer. Let's imagine he's on screen for 20 minutes at the most, I'd rather see none of it before the film.
It's not like there's anybody out there who isn't going to see this film that can be convinced by knowing Spider-man is in it. Equally I don't imagine anybody is only going to see it because they've heard Spidey is in it. At this point Comic fans/superhero fans/Marvel fans are going anyway.

Let's remember the source material..
It’s a seven-issue series, which is 150 pages or something, and Spider-Man appears it it for three pages, one of which is a splash. It was such a tiny part of it. To be honest, it was just a way of boosting up our sales. We were just sitting there thinking, what can we do with Spider-Man for three pages? And that worked.
He's not the most vital and necessary aspect of telling the core of the Civil War story. Sure, his comic gives it some serious grounding and perspective. Infact Spidey's solo comic is probably one of the best bits of the whole event. But if you're making a 02:26 long film adaptation of Civil War you probably got a lot of other things you want to cover. I imagine he'll have more to do than The Falcon in Ant Man, but probably not as much to do as Thor in Avengers 2.
I think it's safer to say they will keep Spidey for the movie but deep down I wish we get a glimpse of him in the trailer.
I'd be fine with, like, a couple frames of a hand shooting a web or something.
No big dramatic "AAAAAND SPIDER-MAN IS HERE!" shot, just something tossed in with all the other action that you have to freeze-frame to get anything close to a good look at.
Like, they didn't show Hulk in early Avengers trailers, just quick bits of Banner transforming or that shot of him chasing Black Widow where he's all out-of-focus and in the background.
You saw enough to know "yep, that's the Hulk, he looks like Hulk", but you had to go see the movie to really see him in action.
So who do you guys think is going to die in Civil War? My money's on Falcon
So who do you guys think is going to die in Civil War? My money's on Falcon
Rhodey, Falcon, or Hawkeye as the semi-side characters are my guesses
If a bigger one dies, Tony until Infinity War
So who do you guys think is going to die in Civil War? My money's on Falcon
I'm doubtful any of them are going to die. Why kill off an Avenger right before Infinity War, when their death would at least have some impact?
So who do you guys think is going to die in Civil War? My money's on Falcon
you clearly don't read comics
Considering we already know [sp]Sharon dies[/sp] in this, I doubt they'd put another death in unless they really wanted it to hit hard.
If it's anyone, my guess is Cap. Bucky takes up the mantle and Steve Rogers comes back in Infinity War to deliver his speech to Thanos.
Definitely won't be Tony, definitely won't be Rhodey (he will get hurt, though), and I'm still calling it that they're gonna have Thanos off Vision in Infinity War Part 1 to get the stone out of his head.

:late: :late:
They've literally given the ending away multiple times during their making of specials, and the end has been moot for many many years.

It's going to be so lame if they pull another fake death. Although I could forgive them if they somehow got Hugo Weaving back as Red Skull.

Thats probably more to do with the Hulk CGI being incomplete more than anything
